  1. But nobody seems to care. It is very like Evernote company.
  2. I also mentioned that two accounts were accessed - they had different passwords too
  3. Only for Evernote. And I use different password for every site I visit
  4. Today I had an email saying I have suspicious account activity and have to change password. I changed password and saw in history that there was an access from Netherlands. I checked another account of mine and saw that there was an access from Netherlands there too. In February I already had my account hacked and information from there stolen. Then I installed newer windows and wiped the old one and changed all passwords. The passwords are not simple, something like ASdf23w3rw21+1vdf. What could this be? Maybe there is a data leak from Evernote servers?
  5. Installed older version. Everything OK there - https://yadi.sk/i/FZ8v8JcA3TDQZB
  6. If I search for a word, find a note and try to edit the note, the cursor looses focus on the first attempt. And I must admit, that is extremely irritating. I will try to get an older version until this bug is solved. Here is the video. On the video I am trying to edit the note putting the cursor after the word found. But it doesn't matter where you put the cursor really.
  7. It happens with many notes. And the contents are mostly text only - small amount of text
  8. When internet on the smartphone is slow - opening a note takes a very long time almost forever. When there is no internet at all - it opens immediately. I am a premium user with offline cache on. Can't you make some kind of timeout, after which the note contents will be used from cache?
  9. Oh, I aplogize too, for not understanding that you were speaking about Evernote notebooks It is because of me using localized version
  10. I am aware of ways to encrypt whole drives including OS on computer. But I am not hiding government-level sensitive data here. Just personal information which I don't want relatives or friends to access. And for that, making Evernote files less open than easily readable text format would be sufficient
  11. Also, I found out that you can copy the database in PC version, change its extenstion to sqlite and view the notes with a database viewer
  12. About PC version: I always "Quit Evernote" from tray, when I finish working with Evernote. A person who doesn't know much about computers won't be able to just open the program and view it. But he or she may easily do a search for "Evernote" keyword on file system and then open the database file with a simple text editor - Word, Akelpad, Total Commander internal viewer, etc. Easy! About Android version: Situation is the same. As you said, Evernote can be locked with password. Alternatively it can be locked with third-party apps. But if we go to SDCard/Android/data/com.evernote/files we will find that Evernote keeps an open xml file for EACH note, which is very easily opened with a text editor. And if it is the reason I don't want to disable offline caching making my experience superslow It would suffice if at least text was saved with some unknown encoding, or somehow obfuscated. In that case to read the text you would need at least some programming skills
  13. The notes text is stored in unencrypted, and even not obfuscated open form both in Android and computer. It would be nice if it was at least a little hard for computer-illiterate people to view the databases. Encryption with the evernote password would be best though.
  14. In the desktop version, if you leave the note title empty, it automatically is taken from the beginning of the note contents and when you you modify the start of the note the title is also synced to it. On android, when MODIFYING the contents, title doesn't change anymore. It would be better if it did as in desktop version.
  15. I suggest a new audio widget for evernote, which will look like the widget of this program - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.first75.voicerecorder2. It works like this - you press the widget - recording begins, you press again, recording stops. Evernote would then store the recording as a new note. This way it will be much more comfortable to use. E.g. when you are driving and only one hand is free
  16. No idea what you mean by "notebook". If it is with Windows, then trash IS THERE. Android - NOT. Exactly. They don't get lost. You can find them in trash on PC version or the web version. But on Android there is no way to view them
  17. Evernote shortcuts are all in one "workspace". Sorry, don't know the correct term, but what I mean is that they are conflicting with each other. You can't open one shortcut if you forgot to close the other. Also it would be nice if widgets would start a function from scratch. E.g. pressing search widget shows results of previous search with this widget. Showed everything in the video. clip0044.zip
  18. Encrypted text takes a long time to open on Android, see in the attached video clip0040.zip
  19. You could open images in a note by tapping on the image on the right side in notes list. Now this opens the whole note. Could you change it to as it was before?
  20. May be there is. If yes, then please tell me how to access it.
  21. I don't understand why there is no recycle bin in the Android version. Very often there is a need to use it.
