Hi. Before the table of contents option, we selected a bunch of notes, copied the note links, and pasted those into a note. In my opinion. that was never terribly difficult, so the table of contents option was nice, but not necessary. Give it a try, and I think you’ll find it is pretty easy to do. I often link up clusters of notes this way by appending the list of note links to the end of each note, creating a kind of mini wiki of related content within your database.

Sure, that doesn't seem difficult at all..depending on the size of the Notebook you want to have a TOC for! For a few hundred, 50 at a time is just a few minutes of sorting where you left off for each set of 50 links you can copy. My most used notebook has over 1500 notes, I would prefer we had the TOC feature back so that I didn't have to copy 50 links each time.

so we’ve made it even easier for you to use them

However, let's say you wanted to annotate the calendar and print it for your family, should we not expect the template to fit effectively on Letter (8 1/2" x 11")?

I made a schedule for my kids and printed it. I tried to play with margins and percentage to get each month to land on its own page...it was surprisingly difficult.

  3. Does anyone else find that the "Recent Notes" does not include any notes from Shortcuts? When I update any on the notes in my shortcuts, it does not become the most recent not in "Recent.." it doesn't even appear in recent at all! Yet when I scroll down to Shortcut Notes (that seems counter-intuitive don't you think?) the note is there and opening it does reveal the most recent updates.

  4. I submitted a trouble ticket some time ago abou the EN widget in iOS not loading previously viewed notes. It would display “Unable to load” and at the same time, there would be no action icons at the bottom either. Nor could I choose “Show Less” or “Show More”.

EN responded to my ticket stating that they were aware and they were fixing it in the next update. So far it would appear that the last update didn’t fix that issue.

    Anyone else having this issue?

I can no longer double-click on a PDF in a note to open it (independently) in my PDF reader!

If you select the preview icon (the eyeball) on Mac, you have the option to open it in your default PDF app; for me, that is Adobe Reader. Although it isn't a double-click, it is suitable functionality for me as I often wish to view the PDF before scrolling and editing.

Please take pdf expert as template. Pdf Annotation is sensational. I regularly use it for board sessions etc. Minimum is:

    - highliting text, strike out, color marker

    - handwritten annotation

    - insert pages in pdf (for extended notes)

Also for notetaking miltiple pages woild be helpful.

If I could also add that if the PDf will not be "in-line" in iOS, can the PDF be opened and available for edit when rotating into landscape mode? This would need to be a toggle/selectable feature.

Some of the forums have been moved offline; for example off-topic discussions

Does this include the feature requests (Mac OS and iOS) forums? I have this running list of feature requests I have been meaning to upload, and I cant find the forum.

I'll keep looking but I would appreciate knowing if I'm wasting my time. lol

  8. Not going to lie - I totally support DTLow's comments.

My personal experience with the audio notes is that the feature is not only adequate, that the quality of audio from meetings I hold/attend are sufficient that I can hear the comments from people speaking in a low tone from the other side of the room. I have even had my iPhone in my pocket during "sketchy' meetings where I was concerned that the result of the meeting might be an "I never said that" argument, so I needed to protect myself.

I use the audio function for notes, not to record high-quality audio such as concerts or anything else. It's a note, how perfect do you need it to be? What are you using it for?
