  1. Seriously, Evernote! Give us a delete button! I don't care where the button is, it'd be fine in the toolbar. But a delete button is essential. I write about design and often feel users whine too much about changes that improve hardware and software. But this is nuts. Instead of tapping a single button, I'm now required to: Learn an awkward keyboard shortcut Option+select + choose delete, or Drag a note to the trash All of these options require multiple steps that a single button has been able to take care in the past of and should be restored immediately. If this were a UX improvement, I'd be all for it. Instead, removing the delete button makes an extraordinarily important function significantly more complicated. When UX designers get on a high-horse and think they know best what users want, the result is not good design and it's most definitely not human-centered design. I very much appreciate uncluttered design and clean interfaces, but this is really going too far.

  3. I suspect that my issues are partly related to macOS, too. I'm having a number of unusual issues related to different programs accessing related files. Headed to the Genius Bar.
  4. I tried using a writing program called Scriviner, but I found its UI/UX too clunky. Using an Evernote notebook, you can achieve pretty much everything Scriviner does... but not being able to manually order notes is hugely inconvenient. I'm surprised people have been asking for this since 2013, it doesn't sound like it would be too difficult to implement.
  5. I wish it were easier to organize stacks and notebooks. I love Evernote, it's a big part of my life. But I wish organizing notebooks would be closer to how macOS's finder works. I have hundreds of notebooks. When I go to the Notebooks view, I can only view 8-10 stacks/notebooks. The lists are super huge and take up a ton of space. When I want to organize them, I dread it and usually don't bother. Also, it'd be nice to be able to have more levels of organization than just stacks and notebooks. In the macOS finder, I can create as many folders as I want. I can also choose how the lists are displayed, making it super compact or not. It'd be great if Evernote for Mac could move closer to that.
  6. Hello, yesterday I upgraded to Evernote 7.0.2 on macOS High Sierra 10.13.3. This morning, I opened up my computer and the Evernote search bar wouldn't work. I realized that no matter what I click on in the main window, nothing happens. It's frozen, I can't click anything to search notes, create new notes, or select notes or shortcuts. Things that do work: the Evernote menu bar and keyboard shortcuts work (new note, etc.). The notes that were already open work fine, too. But I can't access anything through the main window. While these things function, Evernote is useless without being able to search and click from its main window. Any advice to get this working again?
