  1. Followed all these suggestions. Website looks all synced correctly, as well as Evernote for iOS. The sync bug still happens intermittently on macOS. FWIW, I'm also playing with the Catalina Public Beta on an external drive. I see the same issue with Evernote running on the Catalina beta (latest version). There shouldn't be a network connection error, ever, unless my broadband is down. I have broadband and no bandwidth-hogging apps running that would crowd out an Evernote sync process.
  2. Started to see intermittent sync errors with 7.11 beta and it's gotten worse with 7.11 proper. I'm getting a "not connected to network"-type error, even though I have broadband with 300MBps down and 30MBps up. I'm using the 5Ghz band on my router, so there shouldn't be any speed issues. There are no other bandwidth-hogging apps running, i.e. streaming music or video, online backups, etc. The bug is intermittent; I'm baffled. Anyone else having this issue? This is not a problem I've seen before, and I've been using Evernote for years now.
  3. I'm having the doubly-added notes using the Web Clipper since Evernote updated to v. 7.5 beta. I know this is a beta, but such an obvious bug should be quashed before even a beta release. Then again, Evernote has released gold master versions that have been shite. The app is getting goofier with each update. I can't even enumerate all the problems I'm having with god-awful renditions of clipped web pages. A lot of time they're useless.
  4. Issues, we got issues. 1) Scannable is failing to send items to designated notebooks. I have to use my default notebook on the iPhone, sync to Evernote on the iPhone, then sync with the MacOS desktop Evernote app and reassign to the notebook I want the scan to go into on the desktop EN app. Scannable is not respecting my choosing which notebook I want scans to go into, which can vary with each individual scan. This is HUGELY inefficient and a major bug. 2) Latest version of Scannable keeps showing a nag screen to sign up for Evernote after a scan. I’m signed up, and I’m a Premium member. Stop it already! 3) I wish there were a middle ground between full auto capture and manual capture modes in Scannable. I have had to use it Scannable in coffee shops, libraries, etc., and the constant flashes from Scannable before I’m ready to capture the item are clearly distracting to other people as well as drawing attention I don’t particularly want to myself.

  6. Could the Evernote dev team quit taking its cues from Apple, who cannot release software the last few years without introducing more bugs than improvements with each iteration? Web Clipper 6.9.4 for Safari constantly signs me out of Evernote, or forces me to go to a webpage to log in. What if I’m not able to access the web? I tried to downgrade/backgrade to an older version of the Clipper for Safari I have on a backup. Safari (Version 10.0.2 (12602.3.12.0.1) now doesn’t allow such installation; it forces me to use the Extensions Gallery, which only has the latest, malfunctioning version. Just saw that a new version of the Clipper is pending approval for Safari and other browsers, but this is plain old sloppy workmanship. I thought software developers employed knowledgeable professionals and didn’t use their customers as beta testers unless the customers agreed to do so? No one does real world checking for common, obvious bugs in non-beta releases? Much more of this and I stop using Evernote. As a long-time (paying) customer, that should tell the Dev and Sales Teams something. The Web Clipper has always been problematic, yet it’s one of the most useful features of Evernote. I’m very tired of being vexed by sloppy paid software.
  7. I've reported the intermittent problem with Safari before. It hasn't been happening frequently as of late. Can understand the recommendation to disable (possibly) conflicting extensions. Have tried that with no success. Interesting that I have the same extensions installed in Safari, Chrome, Firefox. . .Safari is the only browser in which the Clipper stops operating. I generally uninstall the Web Clipper extension, then restart Safari and reinstall the Web Clipper extension, always downloaded directly from Evernote. The Web Clipper works fine, then. . .until the next time it stops working. I have not found that any particular website triggers the non-function issue. Seems random on my M
  8. If I want to use Web Clipper, I copy the link from Safari to Chrome or Firefox! I don't know why this long-running issue isn't fixed. It has changed my preference from Safari to the other "big two" browsers as my primary choices for websurfing. I think the Web Clipper works overall the smoothest in Chrome.
  9. Having sporadic problems with the Web Clipper as well. Getting an error when I try to install the version you linked to this page. ??? I was having some permissions issues that I thought caused the Clipper misbehavior, but I'm currently on a clean installation with no permissions customization (once burned, twice shy!). Anyone else having this problem? jbignert, your input is welcome.
