  1. Helpful. Not a clean search, but it does the job. Intitle:1 Intitle:1. Intitle:2. Intitle3. Etc... Thank you
  2. I need to find all notes that have a string of eight digits in the title. The search term is an eight-digit number that always begins with the number "1". Examples: 10012184 10359300 An additional wrinkle is that sometimes the eight-digit number is part of a numbered list: Examples: 1. 10837756 2. 12930846 I very much appreciate any thoughts on how to proceed with this search
  3. Not the case for me. My whole system is broken. Search, internal links, links from other programs, saved searches ... my whole Evernote system is broken and unusable.
  4. Check for updates message: "Stay tuned! We're working hard behind the scenes to fix bugs and add new features to help you accomplish more every day." Right now, we don't need new features. No need to bundle the next update with new features. It's time for an urgent update to the current system to fix access to Evernote. This is akin to OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, or iCloud Drive going down. How long would one of these online storage systems stay offline if they knew how to fix the problem? Evernote, it's time roll back to your prior version. Your system is down and your users are frustrated. No new features. Just give us the old version ... NOW!
  5. When Ian Small was interviewing his engineers on YouTube during the version 10 Electron rebuild, they must have been his California-based staff. I'm assuming these employees had the best overall knowledge of what must be a very complex system. I wonder if the new crew is in over their heads.
  6. Same issue for me. My whole system is down. Keep receiving the "Permissions Lost" error. All links broken. Can't search for notes or tags. Totally broken.
  7. Same time frame for me. Unbearably slow. It's difficult to get any work done.
  8. I am experiencing the same problem when I log into Evernote Support in iOS: I am immediately logged out.
  9. Every time I try to contact Evernote Support, I'm immediately logged out.
  10. Yes, I'm concerned about this update being so slow. Most of my notes are taking forever to load. I hope Bending Spoons is in emergency mode trying to fix this.
  11. I first uninstalled the App only by dragging to the trash, emptying the trash, and restarting. The problems persisted. Then I uninstalled the Evernote App and all data (over 11,000 notes) using these instructions: Emptying the trash took a while. Then downloaded Evernote 10.57.10 from evernote.com. Amazingly, all ll 11,000+ notes were instantly available, and all my problems were fixed I'm impressed how much faster Evernote is following this uninstall and reinstall. Thank you!!
  12. I have logged into evernote.com and all my notes are synced (if I try to contact Support while logged in, it immediately logs me out). How do I uninstall Evernote following the instructions provided: "uninstall Evernote, de-selecting keep my notes on this device / power it off and on / reinstall from Evernote.com to recreate both your installation and the local database as a clean install." I'm running a new Mac Mini with Mac OS Ventura 13.4. Thank you.
  13. Thank you for the response. Every time I try to log in to Evernote, it immediately logs me out. It's impossible to contact support. I'm a subscriber. Frustrating.
  14. I just updated to 10.57.10, and now Evernote is unusable: When I click on individual notes in the middle viewing pane, the note content in the right pane often is blank. Sometimes the note appears after a few minutes, and at other times notes remain blank for more than 10 minutes. If I create a new note, I get an endless spinning wheel. For some of my notes, the note title is truncated in the middle viewing pane. I'm running a new Mac with Mac OS Ventura 13.4. Fortunately, 10.57.6 is working fine on my older MacBook. Is anyone else experiencing problems with 10.57.10? Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thank you.
  15. Were you using a VPN? I believe this could make it appear that you were logging in from all over the world.
  16. Were you using a VPN? Is "Android-Zoji-A-3347J" the device name for your Android device?
  17. True, but it's just too painful to build links on a mass scale, whether it be for flash cards or organizing thoughts and notes. Waiting for Evernote's promised drag and drop link creation option, and hoping that it creates bidirectional links.
  18. +1 for toggles in Evernote. I use Workflowy and Notion. The most useful feature in both of these Apps in my opinion is toogles. Toogles encourage building a single comprehensive note on a topic. Toogles would help Evernote transition from an excellent resource manager to an excellent and modern note taking application. The other thing that will help this transition (announced but not yet released by Evernote) is a quick way to create links (and hopefully backlinks) by drag and drop between notes. For students (and we're all lifelong students), toggles are great flashcard alternative (think RemNote without spaced repetition).
  19. Hi Tony, This is definitely working on my Mac. Just doubled-checked. I'm using Mac OS Big Sur 11.3.1 and, as mentioned above, deleted the Mac App Store version of Evernote and reinstalled the Evernote website version (10.13.4-mac-ddl-public (2607), Editor: v123.0.15939, Service: v1.34.4). Looks like you have done the same. Right click (two-finger tap) on a note and "copy app link" (do not copy the web link). Then paste into an Apple Calendar event (into the "Add Notes" section or the "Add URL" section ... either works). If you copy the App Link, then the URL should begin with "evernote:///view/...". If the URL begins with "https://www.evernote.com/shard/...", then you have select the web link by mistake. These Apple Calendar links also sync and work in iOS. In iOS, the links open the specified notes directly within the iOS Evernote app (which is fantastic for my workflow as I need these links when away from my desktop). These desktop-created links also sync to Things 3 iOS and Bear App iOS (both native apps). Interestingly, internal links work in Workflowy for the Mac (an electron app), but do not work when synced to Workflowy in iOS (I presume an electron App). Hope that helps and solves your problem. Jason
  20. On the Mac, internal (classic) links work when using the website of Evernote. On the Mac, I am able to place internal links in my other productivity apps (including Things 3, Apple Calendar, Bear, and Workflowy), and they all open in the native Evernote Desktop version 10.13.4 Instructions: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209004927-What-is-the-difference-in-Evernote-for-Mac-at-Evernote-com-versus-the-Mac-App-Store- Evernote states "While there's no difference between the (Mac App Store vs Evernote website) apps, some may prefer to have one or the other". Despite this statement, there is indeed a clear difference in internal link functionality.
  21. That works! On the Mac, internal (classic) links work when using the website version of Evernote. I am able to place internal links in my other productivity apps (including Things 3, Apple Calendar, Bear, and Workflowy), and they all open in the native Evernote Desktop version 10.13.4 Instructions: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209004927-What-is-the-difference-in-Evernote-for-Mac-at-Evernote-com-versus-the-Mac-App-Store- It's interesting to me that Evernote states "While there's no difference between the (Mac App Store vs Evernote website) apps, some may prefer to have one or the other". Despite this statement, there is indeed a clear difference in internal link functionality. What a big difference this makes in my workflow. I'll post this as a new topic to inform others. Thanks Krisurq!
  22. I'm not ruling out being hacked, but the pattern and data seem to reflect my own vpn use.
  23. Yep, even the unknown locations on my Evernote Access History use my personal device names. I appear to be logging in from around the world when on my VPN.
