  1. Thanks again for that insight. As a software developer myself I can now understand that approach, although, even as Product Manager for a world leading telecomms product, we never took that approach as customers are often very critical and assume, like I did, that what you see is the entirety of the new version. What I do think is quite clever is that when you switch back to the old version they ask your opinion as to why you are switching back - so then they get to know which of the features are actually being used - that's quite useful intel. Thanks again.
  2. Thank you very much for the tip. I have switched back and can now set reminders. I can't understand how or why Evernote would drop such an important feature. Although I really like Evernote, it's not my favourite note taking app, but I still use it often and the two features that make me do so are reminders plus the fact that web searches also show relevant entries from my notes. Thanks again.
  3. I use Evernote reminders on my phone and in the Windows Desktop App. However, if I am creating notes by capturing them from the browser, then they open in the Web App. It ought to be possible to add a reminder to a note being worked in the Web App. It seems so unnecessary to have to go to the Desktop App, hit Sync, find the note, and then add a reminder.
  4. The reminder date does display but it displays as 3 spinners for day, month and year which means if you wanted to set a reminder for the first Wednesday of next month, it doesn't tell you what day of the week the date falls on. However I recently upgraded my Note3 to a Note4 and was going to screen capture this for you right now but this one displays a full calendar to select from so for me at least the problem has gone away. On my Note3, if on the circular display that usually offers Tomorrow you clicked on the word Tomorrow then you ended up with a date spinner. Now on the Note4 when I do that it gives me a proper calendar so I'm a happy bunny now
  5. The Reminder Date, when being set, should indicate the day of the week. This happens on Android tablets and on PCs but it doesn't happen on smart phones. Whenever I am reviewing my outstanding tasks I'm always thinking "I'll do it next Wednesday" but the spinners used to set the date don't tell me the day of the week and so I have to jump out of Evernote to look at my calendar first to figure out which date to set the reminder on.
  6. I notice this thread is over a year old and I'm wondering if things have improved. I'm still having formatting issues... I like to use check boxes for action lists and I like to have them nested - so one action might have several component actions indented beneath it. However everytime I update the note on Android all of the indenting gets removed. I'm hoping to see a fix for that soon. Yes, and Christmas is coming - I know
  7. OS = Windows 8.0 desktop 64-bit. Chrome = 31.0.1650.63 m - which it reports as up to date. Evernote web clipper 6.0.8.
  8. Thanks for the quick response. The URL is this one: http://developer.samsung.com/forum/thread/samsung-galaxy-gear-development/201/245549?boardName=SDK&startId=zzzzz~ and I was trying to clip just the last response along with its question.
  9. When I select part of a web page (for example, a block of text) and then try to clip the selection, all goes well until I hit SAVE then the selection expands to the entire page as it saves and I then find the whole page has been clipped. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a fix for this? Is anyone else having the same problem? Kind Regards Steve
