I used to experience the multiple copies problem; but hadn't seen it for months until today (2016-09-18 shortly after 9am PST) I was adding to the end of an existing Evernote when the right side note entry pane of the screen went blank. I refreshed the content pane of the Evernote screen by clicking on the left abbreviated note and then completed my additions. Later I noticed that there was a second copy of the note appearing below the amended version. The second copy did not contain my additions; but the first note did.
