  1. Using iTunes on your computer, download the current version of Evernote for iOS. Then, when you try to download it on your iOS device, it will register as previously purchased and you should be given the option to download the older version. Megsaint you are a star. That suggestion works perfectly. I now have a compatible version on my iPad and iPhone.
  2. I have access to the US and UK stores only so it looks like the Canadian store may be different. Also whilst the device may never have had it before you have and that may be why it was offered.
  3. Just tried that and no the US store only has the version for iOS 7 available too.
  4. I just gave up on this after that exchange with Apple. However I can access the US store as well as the UK one so will give that a try. Thanks for the tip.
  5. A less than helpful response as usual from Apple Store. Thank you for contacting iTunes Store Customer Support. My name is Raizza and I'm glad to be your Advisor for today. I understand that you are having trouble updating the application you purchased to your iPhone because you haven't yet upgraded to the latest version of iOS. As a customer myself, I know how important it is to you to have this issue quickly addressed. I'm happy to be of assistance. Colin, most of the items being offered on the store are usually optimized for the latest operating system that Apple is releasing. This is the reason why the the app requires iOS 7.0 or later, to make it compatible with the items that its going to give away. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this issue may cause. Apple recognizes that no one is better qualified to provide feedback about iTunes than the people who use it. I encourage you to use the iTunes Feedback page to submit your comments: http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html Your efforts to share your feedback are very much appreciated. Apple appreciates your business.
  6. I have tryed it on both my iPad and my iPhone and don't get that message. You must have downloaded it when an earlier version was available. I am just trying to get it for the first time now.
  7. Yes I have tried contacting them and never got a response. I only get offered the version for iOS7 on the UK app store no other version available.
  8. I don't want to update my iPad or iPhone to iOS V7. The current version of Evernote for iOS available in the iTunes store is iOS v7 only. Is there any way to get a version that will run on iOS6 without Jailbreaking my devices which again I don't want to do?
