  1. @Mohammed Omer Unfortunately in this case, the Android minimum required to use Evernote is Android OS 5.0 or higher. You can learn more here:
  2. Hi All, You may have noticed that all threads requesting Recurring Reminders have been merged into this thread, regardless of platform specificity. This was done in order to better enable us to quantify and qualify user requests, and amplify their voice. While this does not mean this is a feature that will be coming, we certainly want to relay user feedback/sentiment to our various teams. Moving forward, please put all commentary and votes for Recurring Reminders here!

  7. Hi there! I just tested this and was unable to reproduce the results you described. I grabbed an image and dragged it straight into a note in Evernote and the image copied over into the note successfully. To my knowledge there isn't anything we've changed about this functionality. What version of Evernote for Windows PC are you using? Does restarting Chrome and Evernote fix the issue? Are you able to drag/drop from different web browsers into Evernote?
  8. Hi All, You may have noticed that all threads requesting Password Protected Notebooks have been merged into this thread, regardless of platform specificity. (This is a separate request from the ability password protect the Evernote App itself) This was done in order to better enable us to quantify and qualify user requests, and amplify their voice. While this does not mean this is a feature that will be coming, we certainly want to relay user feedback/sentiment to our various teams. 11. Hey All, I can assure you that we do look at user feedback in the forums, and we do our best to package that information and relay it to the development teams. As @gazumped mentioned, we don't provide definitive roadmaps for our future planned releases, functions, features, etc. That being said, we certainly believe we could do a better job with providing transparency/context when we do make changes, updates, etc, as well as how we capture and respond to users' sentiment/feedback. To elaborate, this is something we've been working on behind the scenes, and we are hopeful that you will start to see the fruits of that labor. Specifically for the forums, we've been in the process of adding customer support agents and resources to give us more eyes and ears within the forums. These agents and resources should better enable us to answer users' questions, provide context, and capture and respond to user feedback. Another challenge we face, and are working to address, is the sheer amount of data/content within the forums at present. Unfortunately, we still have a lot of old content within the forums that can make data aggregation and collection difficult, as well as impede a user's ability to find more relevant/updated content, threads, and answers. However, with more resources at our disposal, we will be better able to curate/organize forum posts and topics, remove irrelevant or outdated information, and enforce the Code of Conduct. That curation/organization involves relocating posts to more appropriate locations and merging similar threads/posts. As a byproduct, this should help to centralize the users' voice so that it is amplified and easier for us to quantify, as well as better enable users to find what they're looking for. I hope this helps, and certainly feel free to reach out to me directly if you have more questions!
  12. @Mystic While it is certainly possible to store passwords within Evernote manually, there may be third party products that possess more robust features that will better able to meet your needs. I would suggest looking at @DTLow recommendations!
  13. Hi All, As many of you have noticed, the 'A' button is back, and should continue to be there for the foreseeable future. This choice was made based off of your feedback, and we want to thank you for providing it! Also, our apologies about any confusion! Please continue to share any other feedback you have regarding the editing bar for Evernote for Android. However, if you have new/different ideas or feedback, please search and comment on a thread that already exists or create a new thread. This way, we can get a better idea on the number of requests we're receiving. Thank you!
  14. Hey all, I wanted to reach out to provide some clarification on why you may be seeing different toolbar options in Evernote for Android. Currently, we’re conducting a product test that provides two different versions of the toolbar within the app. The purpose of this test is to use customer feedback to help inform some of our design decisions for future iterations of the app. This may be why some of you are seeing some differences between your devices and why the A toggle icon is removed in some instances and not on others. Our development team is always looking for ways to improve upon the experience and the feedback you’ve provided in this post goes a long way. Our apologies for any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused!
  15. @LoganNYC There isn't a way to change or alter that information using Evernote for Android. You can only change that information if you are using the Evernote Desktop App for Mac or PC at this time. In Evernote for MAC/PC, you would click on the same 'i' icon and, change the dates there. Please feel free to reach out to me via DM if you have any questions/feedback!

  18. @Sophia It looks like they were able to answer your question! I'm locking this thread, but if you need further assistance feel free to reach out to me directly!
  19. Hey All, We’ve recently updated Evernote Help and Learning, and I wanted to provide some context to those changes, and how they may affect you. Specifically, we’ve added updates that enables the Evernote Help Center to tailor itself to each user’s individual needs, based on the user’s subscription level. With the new updates you can: Browse articles - Learn how to use Evernote products and find answers to product- and account-related questions Contact support - Get in touch with someone on our support team Manage support tickets - View and update currently opened support tickets You can learn more here: https://help.evernote.com/hc/articles/360001462848
  20. Hi All, We've been receiving some inquiries about how to acquire a Developer Token. (https://dev.evernote.com/doc/articles/dev_tokens.php) Previously, this was an automated process. Moving forward, developers will need to make a manual request in order to obtain a Developer Token. You can reach out to myself or our Forum Support Staff via direct message, or you can make a request via Support Ticket. Once enabled, you should be able to obtain a token here. Hopefully this information provides some clarification on this process, and let me know if you have any questions!
  21. Hi All, I wanted to provide an update regarding some changes being made to Evernote's subscription plans. Beginning in early April 2018, we will remove the option to purchase new Plus subscriptions. For current Plus subscribers, nothing will change. Your subscription will continue to renew and you can still expect to see all of the ongoing improvements to Evernote, including note editing and formatting, search, organization, and more. So, why the change? In the three years since it was introduced, Plus has proven to be less popular than we thought it would be. This tells us that we need to find a better solution to meet your needs. We believe gathering customer feedback will help determine what those needs are. In the meantime, we will hold off on selling new Plus subscriptions.
  22. Evernote Discussion Forum Code of Conduct Report any posts you feel contradict our policies by using the "Report post" feature and Evernote staff will review the reported content. Any violation of these rules are grounds for a warning and, depending on the violation, may result in a permanent ban at the discretion of Evernote staff. Do not post messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise in violation of any laws. In addition, trolling, threats, personal insults, and name calling are not allowed. Do not post content that violates a copyright. This includes any content that might be in violation of Evernote's Trademark and Brand Guidelines. Do not use the forums to promote or sell your product, service, or business unless it is relevant to the forum thread, you are an Evernote Certified Consultant, or you have prior approval from Evernote staff. Do not provide instructions or advice that you know to be incorrect, intentionally misleading, or harmful. Do not attempt to create the impression that you are an Evernote employee, nor imply that you are providing Evernote support in an official capacity. Do not post content containing personal or private information, such as activity logs, names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, credit card information, etc. This is for your security and protection. Do not double post (post the same message twice in one thread) or cross post (place the same message across several forums). Do not interrupt someone else’s thread in an attempt to change the topic or request support for a different issue. If you have a different issue, find the appropriate thread or create a new one for the issue you’re encountering. Do not chastise new users/newbies for asking questions or posting comments that may already be answered elsewhere. We get new users in the forums every day. Do not post hollow or useless replies, such as simply 'lol', ‘cool', 'first post', etc. Only post responses when you have something to contribute; otherwise use the ‘like’ button.
  23. @Dave-in-Decatur I'm working on getting more specifics, but Google released the following information: https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2017/10/chrome-63-deprecations As Technical Support mentioned, we've been working diligently to investigate and fix the root cause of the issue. Unfortunately, it was only recently that we were able to determine that the Chromium deprecation was the main problem. Moreover, we wanted to confirm this information before we made any comment. However, now that we've been able to identify the root cause, we've now begun communicating that information as exemplified in @StuartG interaction with Technical Support. Overall, we are working to provide more clarity when things like this occur, and we will hopefully be able to provide that information at a faster velocity in the future. However, it may take us some time before we're able to communicate it, as we always want to make sure the information provided is accurate. Hopefully, this answers your questions, but feel free to reach out to here or directly via DM. Thanks!
  24. @JMichaelTX We should have some video demos upcoming, and I'll try to get a recording of one of the webinars and add it to the original thread. Thanks to @rezecib for the help page reminder. I updated the main thread so that it's listed there as well!
