  1. Same here. Windows 10, Evernote 10.15.6 (this is the newest version I've installed a few days ago, although the CPU usage problem started long before that) It's not about one process "going berserk". The issue of insane CPU usage persists after app restart, and is replicable, such as in the following scenario: everything seems fine as long as the Evernote app is minimized (so at least there's that) the moment I open the window (the main app window or a single note) and my cursor lands inside a note, the Evernote process' CPU goes over 30% and my laptop starts making upset noises it stays over 30% no matter what I do, unless... I close all open notes and minimize the app again, then it goes down after a while So, basically, I can't edit a note for longer than five minutes if I don't want to kill my laptop's cooling system... EDIT: Also, sometimes the open note "freezes" (the individual note's window, or the entire main app's window, if I have it open there), and I have to minimize & show it again to unfreeze it. This seems like it may be connected to the CPU issue.
  2. Same problem here: small SSD, Evernote data takes 15 GB and growing. I like v10 but... --- Well, those who google shall find. Just now, I made a symbolic link to the Evernote folder on Windows 10 using this tutorial: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/ What I did: 1. Turn off Evernote 2. Rename its data folder sitting in "C:\Users\{your user name}\AppData\Roaming" to "_Evernote" 3. Run cmd as administrator 4. Create new "Evernote" folder on another drive 5. Type in cmd: MKLINK /J {original path} {new target path} where: {original path}: C:\Users\{your user name}\AppData\Roaming\Evernote and {new target path} is, for example: D:\Evernote 6. Delete original data folder 7. Run Evernote, login again Works.
  3. I'm using the newest version, I've checked. Interestingly, today the undo seems to work consistently, when yesterday it wasn't. I haven't update the client in the meantime. I wonder what exact conditions have to be met to observe this error.
  4. Yes, that's why I said that "it seems to have become worse lately". It used to work after I pressed ctrl+z multiple times, but now it rearly does. What's worse, now it immediately scrolls up so even if undo works once in a blue moon, then I don't know what I'm undoing and when to stop. And since in those cases "Redo" doesn't work either... The only solution as of now is to manually select the text and delete it, but if it was pasted with formatting then leftovers of the formatting sometimes stay and make the surrounding text look ugly.
  5. I also have this problem. It seems to have become worse lately. Aside from undo not working, the editor scrolls to the start of the note when clicking ctrl+z which is really bothersome when working on long notes.
