  1. Thank you. I look forward to hearing more about you app as time progresses.
  2. Gock, if it's me your replying to, no I'm not concerned about security (well, not in this case ), what I was trying to ask was this: If notes are prepared in Marxico and saved to Evermote, can these same notes opened and added to, and/or edited, right in side the desktop Evernote app itself? Or do you have to open them in Marxico to edit and/or add to them? Also, * Do you have a price point in mind for your final product? * Could this software also be use to prepare formatted blog posts drafts for WordPress?
  3. Well that was certainly a quick reply! . Any future plans to include mobile devices?
  4. Gock, in relation (I think) to this post by Loriswave, as well as to the question in my other post - wouldn't anything created in Marxico be saved to the Evernote servers, provided you link it to your EN account, and later acessible for viewing & editing, just as with any other note *not* created using your program?
  5. It looks most impressive, Gock! :) Does the App work on both Windows and Android?
  6. Hmm, that's puzzling. Sounds like an encounter I had last year with a large, popular anti-virus company. After I had paid for the service and two expensive repairs their software didn't catch. They wanted to charge me for the priviledge of talking to them as well...changed companies. I'm definitely one of those who isn't happy about the ribbon interface. Though to be fair, Microsoft does have excellent free tutorials available for all of it's core programs. And the users forum, while not as nicely laid out as this one, does have have a number of very knowledgeable and helpful volunteers.I'm curious, Grumpy, what was the situation where they wanted to charge you to speak to a live company rep, if you don't mind sharing? I don't know if it had anything to do with my problem or not, but (1) problems with memory issues and crashing on the Mac, (2) problems with vertical Japanese text support on the Mac, and (3) license inactivated because it was supposedly used on too many computers. If I remember correctly, they wanted 45 dollars.

  8. Beagley. If you want to word process anything other than plain text - with zero formatting except maybe paragraph breaks & *nothing else* that you can count on not messing up if you copy a Note's text anywhere outside Evernote - and plan to *never, ever* print directly from Evernote, the sure go for it. But if you want even basic, *reliable* word processing abilities, do youtself a favour and look elsewhere. Evernote is a great place to store data of many types, and EN staff keep popping in every now and then to assure us they are working on improvements to the much maligned Text Editor. But they also make it clear that Evernote never was, is, or will be, a full-on note-takimg software despite the nane.
  9. Sorry, but if I thought for even a second that *any* of my medical (or legal) data was stored on an app like Evernote, I would blow a gasket. If my records were hacked, it would be the doctor (lawyer) I went after. Stopping here, before I explode.
  10. That's unfortunate. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Wait, another option might be a new note for every entry, numerically or date & time titled. After you convert each one to a Word doc you could delete the EN notes if you don't want them taking up space on your data limit. Sadly, here ends my the extent of my knowledge. If my last idea (above) doesn't work for you, hopefully someone else might have suggestions. Best of luck!
  11. I only know of the scrolling, but you might want to consider restructuring your daiily notes by always putting the newest data entry at the top. And maybe note at the beginning of each entry, the Time, as well a Titles of sorts - that includes Key Words - so you can locate earlier entries by using the "Find on This Page" function on both your desktop and Android. Hope that helps.
  12. Just popping in to say that if and when Find and Replace is ever implemented, that you also add it to the Windows app as well.
  13. Just realized this is happening on my Windows 7. Apparently it's not fixed, after all. Oh well, not a big deal for me personally.
  14. Hi. Please don't take offense to this, but I'm about as tech clueless as one can get and I had two thoughts after reading your note: 1) Yes, to me at least, it's pretty clear that the link allow you to navigate from the TOC to headings within the same note. 2) If you just click on the link provided a few posts back in this thread, it will take you directly to the EATags service site, where everything is explained with text, graphics and How To videos, far better than anyone could explain it here. Just go have a look yourself.
  15. That's great news. Thanks Rebianchi!
  16. I don't have time to look at it extensively for the moment, but if it does what I think it does, this feature will be a HUGE help for me and many others who have been wanting the ability to have a CLICKABLE Table of Contents in long Notes with large amounts of text. I wonder why it hasn't been mentioned in the 6 or 7 months I've be active on the forums? I can especially see it be most beneficial for students with their study notes! I'll be testing it out as soon as I can and will report my findings in a new thread. However, that could mean as little as a day or two or as much as a few months. I can't make definitely plans for anything as my body frequently refuses to cooperate (MS), so if someone else wants to take on, please do. And let us know what you learn please! Thank you, SoralSokal (sp?) for mentioning this. I greatly appreciate it! :) Wordsgood
  17. Now this would make me buy the premium version. (Really don't like Skitch.) Now all I need is money, lol. Hubby's not had much of stable income in a long time. Really hope his newest job works out. Ah well, such is life! Thanks for alerting us Troy!
  18. Have you tried searching your old email to see if you can find your registration email when first signing up for Evernote? Wordsgood
  19. *Blushing now* That explains the argument I had with my laptop a few days ago...
  20. Chin, I'm not sure if you are replying to my post or not, but just case you are... Thank you for thinking of me, but I've got it all sorted out now! Wordsgood
  21. Thanks Rheinard. As it turns out, the same day you sent this reply I also received answers to queries I've had out elsewhere for several weeks, and discovered much to my chagrin, that the blog I've been using for the last 6 weeks is not even a WordPress blog! So for now, I'm just going to going to concentrate on migrating over to an actual WordPress site, and then once that's done, notify all the folks I originally invited to read it it of the new site's name and location. But I may be back to look at your plug-in at a later time and thank you for thinking of me!
  22. Gazumped, thank you for the Treeliner tip! I just signed up for the beta testing. It looks very promising! Wordsgood
  23. Have you tried Right Clicking on the Shortcut, the choosing Delete from the menu that pops up? IF one does pop up, I've never used Windows 8.
  24. Are you sure it's not your phone's keyboard that's the problem? If you're using a smartphone with a touch screen keyboard, try looking at your Settings, Language options and if possible, disable the Predictive text/Auto-correct function. This was a huge issue for me and I finally figured out how to stop it. Of course now spelling suggestions don't show up now, but I prefer that to it taking over what I want to input. Hope this helps.
