The problem with Tags is they can get out of control. You end up with so many of them you forget what your options were. I know this can be quelled through planning but they are so easy to create by accident the list becomes unweildy. Plus they have no context. Nesting notebooks give specific context tags cannot. I learned this trying to implement the The Secret Weapon setup. It made perfect sense until you have to do extensive tag management. I loved it because it played to my need to over organize, which is my biggest fault. The goal is to keep this simple and a hierarchy to guide you is the only real way to do this.
