About ekarof

  1. I'm trying to reorganize my filing... I use tags a lot and have found that I now have an unruly list. As I try to change tags, remove tags, etc I am having major issues. Process: select multiple notes;in the "# notes selected" I am working in the tag entry sectionissueSometimes I can't add tags (I type and my entry seems to show up briefly, then disappear)Sometimes I accidentally press delete and it removes the tag - and there is no redo, or revert function - which leads to lost work that I can not recover!Thank you for any information or strategy.
  2. I take a lot of pictures and store them in Evernote... I find it a cumbersome process. Usually I: Click on cameratake pic and confirm checkmarkthe note then gets saved and closes...I then need to open it back up to name and tagDo others do it a different way?
  3. how do i remove my facebook and twitter account in the sharing... i want to ensure i don't share a note by mistake. also, when you do share a note, how do you know who it was shared too? thank you.
  4. Is there a way to filter all incoming emails to a specific notebook - one that is different than the "default" notebook? ie, when i send emails from a specific email account (like my yahoo address), I want Evernote to automatically put in my Yahoo_Incoming notebook. Thank you.
  5. When I'm in gmail and try to clip an email, I receive a popup that says: The page at https://mail.google.com says: could not parse settings. check internal clipper logs for more details OSX 10.9.1 Chrome Version 32.0.1700.77 I then get a revolving disk until I hit escape.
  6. Still not working. When I'm in gmail and try to clip an email, I receive a popup that says: The page at https://mail.google.com says: could not parse settings. check internal clipper logs for more details OSX 10.9.1 Chrome Version 32.0.1700.77 I then get a revolving disk until I hit escape.
  7. I want to create an easy way to save my attachments that I receive in Gmail to Evernote. I'm on a Mac, use chrome, have webclipper, and evernote premium. The process I go through now is to download attachment in Gmail, find the attachment in downloads, drag to evernote, then go to evernote. Ideally I want to just go to Evernote knowing that the attachments are there. Here are things I've tried: Webclipper in Chrome - should work per some documentation, but it does not save the attachmentifttt script - gmails with attachments forward, but the attachment is still in a link (link to locker.ifttt ...)Any ideas? Thank you.
  8. The attachments don't save to evernote - they remain as links. I'm using chrome, and when I'm in an email with an attachment and I clip to evernote - only the note saves... it shows the original link, but I want the file to go to evernote. Is this the way its supposed to work? I'm referencing an evernote blog post: "The subject line becomes the note’s title and all the email addresses of recipients show up near the top. If you’re a Premium user, then we’ll also make any attached documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and PDFs searchable" Thank you for any info.
  9. I receive documents - pdfs as well as others, that I want to mark up on my Mac. What is the process to do so? I've been playing around for a while, and haven't found an efficient process. Here's my ideal: Click on an evernote note where I have an attached file -- either a .pdf or another file It opens that actual file, where i can then edit it in skitch after i edit in skitch, i save and the evernote file is updated i can then repeat as necessary to continue to add notes when i view later, see the skitch summary at the top of the fileChallenges I'm having: multiple files are being created, summary is not shown, unclear of where to save the file - in evernote / skitch, etc Thank you for any info.
