  1. Finally my access to the support was resumed. I contacted Shane. D (from the link I posted above) and he "made an update to my account" which fixed the issue.
  2. Evernote made an announcement concerning the issue in mid 2018: https://discussion.evernote.com/announcement/72-issues-accessing-evernote-support-channels/ As I see it hasn't been fixed since then.
  3. I am having exactly the same issue, when I click on contact help center, it says I was logged out. Then I log in, click on Send an email to Support and it says again I was logged out...
  4. Me, too. No results if I search for one word (e.g. "gold"). But if I search for several words, the results appear. Weird. Looks like a bug. Would the developers be so kind to comment on this? PS: I use Kubuntu 16.04 LTS and Chrome Version 65.0.3325.181 (Official Build) (64-bit)
  5. My problem has finally been fixed. I love evernote If developers find the clue what it caused, please let us know. It would be nice to know what causes this if it happens again. Was frustrating indeed. For those, still affected, I contacted Evernote support and they did a database reindex, which worked. Though, for me it started to work in about one day after the reindex (don't know why this delay, maybe i needed to relogin). It seems the way to check whether your search index is correct or corrupted is to run the search "*". You should see the total number of notes found. PS: apologies for blaming.
  6. same problem (see), Evernote is dysfunctional.
  7. Evernote provides partial search results. Evernote search does not work correctly. I checked the issue in Evernote Web and Android. Why on earth should I use such a kind of crapware software like Evernote paying my annual fees? Need to look at available alternatives one more time. Imho, there is no discussion or excuse here. It's too much. As one user in this thread said, Evernote search is 'insane mess'. Below are screenshots from Evernote Web. UPDATE: 'klapwijk' is the note title (the first pic). The note is not found (the second pic). PS: apologies for emotions and blaming Evernote. PPS: for those reading between the lines, it is not about OCR. It is about ordinary text search.
  8. hi, i use evernote web, firefox 56.0.1 (64-bit), linux centOs 7. After I have run a search, in the search result pane only small portion of note titles is displayed (see the pic attached). I need to be able to increase the area with search results so that I can see the titles in full or at least greater fraction of it. This is possible in the Windows client, but unfortunately impossible in the New Evernote Web. please do. tnx.
  9. @gazumped 10x a lot!!! I turned on the old version so now I can see note titles in full. New Evernote Web seems to be impractical to me as note titles are truncated and i can't get which note is what.
  10. @gazumped Hi, I mean, I want a way to create a shortcut for a note from the note window (opened by double clicking on a note in the evernote window). Not from the main evernote window. See the pic. I highlighted areas where the requested button or a menu item can be located.
  11. Absolutely! Why can't I add to shortcuts from within the note I am working in??? Thanks for creating the feature request
  12. I have the same issue. After I copy page from a web-browser into Evernote, sometimes I can't move the cursor where I want. It is frustrating.
  13. I have the same issue. After I copy page from a web-browser into Evernote, sometimes I can't move the cursor where I want. It is frustrating.
  14. If last five searches are shown with Ctrl-Q, why don't they show it when I click on a search bar??? I do agree current behavior is inconvenient, moreover not everybody knows and uses Ctrl Q.
  15. i have the same issue too, really annoying, evernote, win10
  16. @chucker As I know, the problem is that when one copies a picture into a note being in the evernote client, the program copies path to the image, not the factual image. The image is uploaded to the server later. So, if something happens to the image between "copying" and uploading to the server, the image may become corrupted. This is Evernote' approach to copying images, which, imho, is fundamentally flaw. I asked the developers' team to pay attention to this.
  17. Thank you, Davie Lam, for your workaround advice for Chrome. To Andrea Kim: In Firefox, it is similar. Select the table -> right click -> Inspect element -> find (with your eyes) <table... (it should be located upwards) nearby -> right click -> Delete node Works like a charm!
  18. I posted a support ticket. The support team said it is a critical issue, developers are aware of it and working on it. However, the problem is that I cannot reproduce the error. My understanding is that the developers can't reproduce the error either. So, if someone can reproduce it, it would be of great use and a way to fix the bug.
  19. Hi, fellows, Had the same issue (Windows 10). Came across it many times in the past. Have posted a ticket to evernote support. Thinking about migrating to some other note taking program. This is a deal braker. PS: it seems that solution to this problem is a manual sync immediately after creation of the note. But i am not sure.
  20. Have the same issue. Evernote text recognition, imho, is weak. So I have a lot of redundant results in search results. NEED TO TURN IT OFF.
