Sorry to come late to the party. I stumbled on this thread while searching for a solution. As gbarry demonstrated, you can use YouTube's embed code, but essentially you're just getting a link. I prefer to use YouTube's email function to send it to my Evernote account. It still doesn't reside in my notebook. But in addition to a link to the video, Evernote gets the name of the video and everything on the "About" tab on the video. YouTube's email function doesn't allow users to control the subject line, so I can't direct it to a specific notebook, tag it or set up a reminder using Evernotes @, # or ! features. But I can edit the title at the same time I set up the notebook, tag and reminder.
