I literally was thinking about a hide feature and was excited when I saw this Idea. Thank you @TripleYoThreat for starting the discussion! Since I use Evernote to store sensitive information (thank you for offering SSL encryption!) it would be extremely useful to "hide" notes and have the ability to include or exclude "hidden" notes from searches and from displaying in notebooks or in the All Notes view. I understand we could use tags but, similar to hiding image files in the Photos app for iPhone or Mac, it would be great to be able to exclude or include based on a "hidden" attribute on the note. @DTLow thank you for continuing to providing possible solutions to the ideas presented in this forum!

Tasks due dates and tasks reminders could be available as filters. I use filters api in a daily basis workflow. It Will be helpful see my tasks and note reminders for today in the same filter.

What you just described did nit work in prior versions. iOS or Evernote took it away and now it works again. (Sometimes 😊)

Thanks for taking the time to reply on great detail. my confidence has decreased now that I started losing notes for the first time in 10 years of using Evernote. I no longer use the Windows version but I do use the web, iOS and macOS versions. I am less concerned about the sync as I am about the preservation of my notes at this point. I have over 11,000 notes so I am concerned that I would not easily notice lost notes at this point.

Using the combination of Evernote 10.4 and iOS 14.3, the phone number hyperlink is now working again. 👍🏻

"sadly" - Have you never been sad to see something good go downhill fast? Evernote is a great product.The v10 release is a disappointment. Manual Sync and nearly 100% success synchronizing for almost 10 years made my expectations for Evernote products high. This roll out is the absolute worst major software rollout I have ever seen by one of my major software products I use.

Sadly folks I have reverted to Evernote Legacy. It works with my MacBook and web and iPhone. I can’t waste hours and lose my notes using 10.5.x being a loyal paying customer for 9+years and an early adopter I was hoping to hear from Evernote on this issue. To say this is a disappointment is a major understatement. I literally need to reconsider the foundation of my storage and note taking. OneNote is no match for Evernote. This is a letdown. You are losing an Evernote evangelist.

Version 10.5.7 is a miss. Not a hit. Can't believe I need to reinstall version 6. Built my note taking strategy and important information storage around Evernote over the past 9 years. This is not the Evernote that I have come to appreciate. As someone in the software development field, I'd say this is a case of "jumping the shark". Not good Evernote. You are losing an EN evangelist in this shoddy release process. Usually a release from EN is an upgrade. This was just a premature release.

This is NOT solved. If the sync does not work, Evernote, you have removed the ability for the customer to help themselves. Think about how much work you are making for your support team.

This is not a new idea. This discussion was regarding the removal of a feature that was around a long time. I was looking for a commitment to keep features or improve them or offer a better solution. That has not been the case here. I don’t see an offered alternative that works for my iOS and macOS-centric work style. It’s a shame

Agree that this would be nice but it does not solver the problem on MacOS. As was mentioned, the MacOS app (v7.14) does not recognize the "tel" as a URL. Notice that the OK button is unavailable in the screen capture.

MacOS 10.15.4 + Outlook for Mac 16.37 + Evernote 7.14 Open MS Outlook, open message, copy text, open Evernote, add a new note, paste text (command + V or Edit >Paste) = FAILED Open MS Excel, create a new spreadsheet, paste text (command + V or Edit >Paste) = PASSED ???

Copy and Paste are no longer working on my Evernote Mac app. I can copy from non-Evernote apps and paste them into other apps (e.g., copy Outlook email text and paste into Word document). I can no longer paste from non-Evernote apps to Evernote. I can no longer copy and paste from Evernote to non-Evernote apps. Evernote Mac Version 7.14 (458244 Direct) / Editor: 69.3.10951 (15add1e) running on macOS Catalina (10.15.2) on MacBook Pro. Help! Thanks in advance

This is really disappointing. I constantly use Evernote to look up phone numbers.

Still no reply from Evernote on this one. Surprising. Usually these types of issues are addressed very quickly.

I am used to using Evernote to capture a lot of details including phone numbers. The automatic hyperlinks to make phone calls was a great feature - this thread is almost 2 months old. Any news about this? I don't think this is an iOS issue since the MacOS version also doesn't create links from phone numbers anymore.
