  1. This is a very basic basic operation. I am using Evernote on an iPhone and I’m trying to go through my to-do list to delete completed items. Every time I double tap and select text, the text becomes highlighted and the screen jumps. It happens consistently, every time. It is not a stable experience. In fact, it is predictably unstable, happening every time I try to select a Word. It takes what should be a 10 second operation and makes it five minutes or more. It has now taken enough time for me to find this forum, sign in, and write this issue down here. It’s ridiculous. The basics of notekeeping, including just typing and editing a text note, have become a big hassle with evernote. I would love to be put in a position to be able to fix this thing, but nobody’s gonna listen to me. anyway, if anybody’s listening, please trust me that at the very least, doing a text note on an iPhone should be completely stutter- free. I am not editing images, I am not doing anything interesting. It is just a simple checklist text note. Evernote must start over from the beginning and get that one basic thing right. There should NEVER be screen jumping and having to scroll back to your position each time you select a word! anyway, I’m gonna go back to my to-do list now.
  2. Here's a quote I found that really describes my feelings: "I felt like I was struggling with something that was supposed to solve my problem." from this lovely little article: 'Evernote is About to be Crushed' http://techrail.in/evernote-is-about-to-be-crushed-by-competition
  3. People seem to be suggesting that clicking 'remember me for 30 days' is some type of adequate solution. Sigh...
  4. I really liked Bluedaze's post. I just read these posts to hear other people complain about this, because it somehow makes me feel less angry when I see that there are many of us fighting with this system. Thanks for that post, Bluedaze.
  5. That is SO stupid. I've wasted so much time trying to figure this out. There is NOTHING in the help, and NO setting for the shortcuts. It's one of the most essential features of evernote on other devices. And now, as usual, I forgot what I was going to write in evernote, because I've spent my time fighting with evernote.
  6. You are right, and this is an incredible annoyance. It was BUILT that way. The fact that Evernote is just fine with this disaster simply speaks volumes... They simply don't care. Evernote is ABANDONWEAR!
  7. The limitations are epic, they are design related, and I can't list them all here from memory. First of all, the app fails to make use of the iPad screen, relegating information (buttons, folders, files) to tiny little text lists on the side of the screen. If you open a note, it only opens with part of the page, and you are required to touch another tiny button each time to open the file to full screen. There are no folders like in the desktop version, only lists of the folders, on the side of the screen. The 'refresh' button is hidden. It should be prominent. Editing is terrible. The entire operation is cumbersome and not fluid. The 'new note' button is small, and not prominent. The tiniest little button (half a centimeter or less) is what you have to push to select what folder your file will be in. The design is just terrible. Just terrible. When I saw the old version of evernote at a Best Buy, it had the actual folders like the desktop version. An evernote representative told me that was the old design. Please 'unfix' the Evernote disaster! Make this app usable! You've killed it!
