While my problems are not as severe as some reports here (maybe coz I use offline notebooks), the performance is bad enough now and ongoing misc sync issues that I now have a switch to another app on my radar, after so many years 😞

hi.. i have not reported it to them yet. my impression is they want you to go through the user forum first.

another phone upgrade, another mess with offline notebooks, the main reason i use evernote.

just got a samsung s22 and am using evernote 10.40 (1125939)

similar experience a couple of years ago on my last phone upgrade.

as reported by others, the downloading to offline notebooks gets stuck.  like, 1-3 days later, the status icons don't or barely move.

then i try to turn off selected notebooks, and it looks like the toggle worked, but when i come back in the notebook is still toggled on. 

then halfway through toggling off my offline notebooks, evernote seemed to crash.

come back in, and ones i had toggled off are still toggled on.

setting "do not download notebooks" to turn it all off in order to then just try one at a time, and i still have notebooks toggled off.

omg, 2 years later this same shocking stuff.  really?

for the past few weeks, i have been having issues with syncing from android

sync seems to get "stuck". 

one of the symptoms is that after saving edits, i can no longer edit or go back to the home screen.. i have to terminate and restart the app.

other times, there is no notification of the issue, so as i continue to go back into a note after saving to make more edits, i am unaware that previous edits have not synced, and this sometimes ends up creating additional copies of the note instead of updating the note that has not synced.  

currently on android 10.39 (1125601) ,though this was happening on 10.38 and likely earlier versions as well

that is, in the note itself, without having to find it in the list of notes?

It is mainly a bugfix release - chances are it solves the situation.

thx.  just checked and it's not yet available.  will report back when it is and i retry this.

pretty sure this used to work properly until recently.

now, when i copy some text from one note and paste in another, it acts as if i had used paste special ie. it loses all formatting (eg. bold, bullets, etc.)

While I continue to experience this problem frequently, even on android 10.13, fortunately i have never had to restart my phone or uninstall/reinstall or exit the app.  i keep going into the note, sometimes other notes, scrolling, and eventually (on average 5-10 times) the edit option finally appears in place of the view mode message.

Sadly I am still getting this shocking problem with 10.13 android 

Dont get me started on growing list of frustrations and problems since v10.

Add me to the list of very unhappy customers now needing to look for a new note manager.

esp the lack of full offline capability, as often i am in places with no online access .. this is one of the primary reasons i moved to evernote a few years ago.

Incredible that the option to hide/remove the note content was removed. 

Please put the option back - then everyone can choose how they want to use this aspect of evernote.

hi - started using a new laptop with windows 10 and the latest evernote windows app,  and a problem i have had in the past has returned.

everytime i open a notes window, it is way too big.  i resize it to something manageable, close it but the next time i open a note window it is again the same way-too-big size.

i searched the community but did not find an answer.
