  1. Man, I hear ya! Nothing EN has updated has been beneficial for me whatsoever. I don't think I will ever get over not being able to have custom fonts installed. The minute I find something even remotely functional as EN - I'm gone, but for now the options EN does have and the things that I use are the best I can find...and for that I am grateful.
  2. I mean, seriously. It DOES NOT matter what we use for personal use within our notes! Custom font integration should be an option. EN can still achieve making notes look whatever way they want by you selecting one of the preinstalled fonts. If we want to use something else and risk it not looking like the same across all platforms - that's our problem. Like I have mentioned in other posts as well as this one. I am CONSTANTLY having to create layouts, notes, articles, etc with different fonts. This is a huge let down for someone in the design field. Pink Elephant need not reply. I don't need to hear that I should be using a different app. Evernote is the app I need for all my needs.
  3. Hmm and for some reason my profile here refuses to update to say Premium when Plus doesn't even exist any longer.
  4. Well, I never knew about the release notes, and still this bothers me to NO END, but there is literally no better app out there that does what EN does, so as disappointing as it is to not have custom fonts - I now renewed my Premium membership. Let's keep hoping for integration in a later version! I have written them 3 times now about it and of course there was no reply. The 'handwritten & script fonts can go right to hell in the fastest hand basket ever made! At least add some of the classics like Arial and Times New Roman! Are you going to go back to the legacy version? You can (if you didn't know), but I won't because I don't want to risk any of my notes (all 798 of them) getting compromised if there aren't any updates in legacy.
  5. Yea, exactly. I'm on 9 years. I agree with you and believe it or not there are some people on here that don't seem to be bothered by having less options. If you didn't see - my biggest issue has been related to not being able to install custom fonts any longer. Did you use different fonts for your notes? I have given feedback via the desktop app three times. Every so often I see an "Evernote staff" member posting on here, but I am willing to put money on it that I will never hear back. I don't want to migrate all my stuff over either, but it may come down to it if I find something that is going to function the way I need it to.
  6. I went back to the legacy one for a couple days, but got worried when I saw it wouldn't be updated anymore. Any idea how long we have before that happens?
  7. I looked at some of these as well. We have to do what is best for us.
  8. Right? Isn't a bummer?! It's a very sad situation because in my opinion (for what my needs are on a daily basis) Evernote is the best app out there. I just spent 2 hours of my life that I will never get back researching other apps on their features, and have found virtually nothing that does what Evernote does. This is why I am so disappointed...this font thing is eating me up. I don't want to hear from anyone that Evernote isn't a layout app or a word processing app...blah blah - it actually is. It functions better than any other junky app out there with endless options on formatting to saving pages in their entirety off the web to be saved. Evernote is my notebook. My journal. My project producer. My photo album. Have you sent feedback in the app? Do that. I have a couple times now.
  9. And forgot to mention - I am doing something similar with the font situation. Thankfully I had a few of my favorites already in use in other notes and was able to copy and paste them to a new note to be able to use that font. i.e. Caslon Pro - one of the best fonts for an editorial document and I use it frequently, so I was able to take the first sentence of a note and copy to a new one, erase all of the sentence except one letter, start typing what I need to type and then erase the first letter. I now can have my note in said font. 😔
  10. I hear ya! The design features including colors layout, fonts, and overall use of options is absurd at this point. I am looking for another app that can hopefully come close to the nearly good ten years I had using Evernote.
  11. Yea, exactly. At this point as I use Evernote for EVERYTHING. I sent them feedback telling them I will be ending my paid sub if they don't bring back the ability to add custom fonts. I am beyond infuriated that they had the nerve to remove this option. I am so sick and tired of some members (won't mention names until I have to) on here making it seem like it is just fine that this happened. They are only fine with it because they don't use the option. Nobody is asking to have Evernote change the preinstalled fonts - we are asking for the option to add the font we want to use. We don't care about this cross platform synching. We want to use a damn font that we want to use.

  13. Finally worked on this more.... I just dragged 238 fonts to the "web fonts" in the font book, restarted evernote and worked perfectly! So if there is anyone else that is looking to have access to more fonts from the drop down - this is a good option until evernote ever adds the option.
  14. Was unaware of this option. Very helpful for now. Thanks!
  15. Ah! Sorry. The most helpful platform would be on the computer (Mac) as that is where all my fonts are stored. But I am assuming that if this feature was added it wouldn't matter if a Mac, Windows, or other OS was being used.
  16. I love using evernote. I do not use any other word processing program. I use it for everything on my computer, phone, and tablet. I've been hoping for a feature for the past few years, but still hasn't, so I thought I would put in a request for it. Instead of having to right click to "show fonts" maybe we can have all of the fonts in your computer available right from the drop down at the top where all the options for the formatting are. I constantly have to change fonts and it is nice to be able to preview them before. Right clicking to get to my 1000+ fonts is very inconvenient. I have added a screenshot of the targeted area. Thanks for your consideration!
