Thank you again. I see what was happening now. My view and set up was because I had my text zoomed in to enlarge the note I am working on That way the 1st column collapsed and showed the icons and not the actual text links. My setup is for two screens. The left I have the regular EV and when I double click on the note I want to use, it comes up full on the 2nd screen. I still want to enlarge the text on the 2nd screen but it seems if I enlarge this both screens enlarge, so it goes back to the icons in col 1. How can I enlarge just the note on the 2nd screen without enlarging the basic view on the 1st screen?

Thank you. I don't see that arrow however I see the vertical box icon 4 down from the top expands it. I still prefer the 'old' look. What versions are these please?

Hi, I used to used the standalone first version of EV I think it'd now called Legacy, but I am now using 10.85 178.0.6 1.102.1 on a Win 10 x64 PC. I looked at the new notification video about the new upgrades and it talks about the Desktop version which dies not look like the version above I use. I looked at EV online and up popped a version that looks like the old initial version I used which has tge layout I prefer to use. The main thing I don't particularly like in my current version is the left side where it only has icons in thin column 1 whereas the one online has the Notebooks named in col 1, then the Notes in 2 then the Note. What version is what please? Thank you oz

Thank you I messed around with it and it did come as I wanted it but as it was a few days ago have to try and remember what I did to get it.

All rights reserved It just shows the one note and no list of notebooks on left side then list of notes with fiorst few lines in next colum, then the note I have chosen in the right col. When I want that note to be separate and when I click it comes loose and shows in my other screen so I can use it. How do I get back to this. I don't want the web version. Please help. I want the list of note in Col 1, then a short

All rights reserved On my phone and other PC's it does open faster but this one takes a long time and seems to get more updates yet all have the same Win10 Pro 64 and in fact all Dell boxes. Is there an answer to this other than the box itself i slow, which it isn't for anything else? Thanks oz

Hi, On a PC WIN 10 Desktop I am using EN 10.62.2-win-ddl-public (20230919180646) Editor v176.13.0 Service v1.74.4 I have used the Move to Trash right side of screen drop down for two notes of approx 5000 words each and while the spinning circle is there, it has taken already 15 mins and still rocking ! What to do? Thanks

Update does not work from Win 10 standalone Premium 5.8.3 to 6.25 which says is ready. I go to download and get.. Unable to download the update. Please try later. Do I need this update? If so, can it be fixed please? oz

HI, I have standalone program in Win 10 Pro version Premier 5.8.3.6507 (274507) and have many Notebooks with several notes in them. I want to merge them all together so they are in the same order as they were as Notebooks. e.g Notebook 1, Notebook 2, Notebook 3 etc. In the merge as page 1, 2 3 etc. Thanks oz

Hi, How can I get the standalone Win 10 Desktop version again instead of the browser? I would prefer it and have it on some devices but not others and need to know how I can go back to using it. One feature I need is the Word count. Thanks

Yes, it'd be great for Win to have it but I think as you say, they rely on 3rd apps although using Edge with EN I can do it okay. It does read the notes okay. Just need it to work in my Samsung Android now. I've tried a few apps but so far none reads the EN note. Thanks for the help

Thank you. Yes I have tried a few on the Store but so far nothing reads Ev Notes. Shame they don't have the TTS option as I am sure it would be very popular. Maybe in the future. I'll keep looking.

Yes I have TTS working now with EN in Edge but would like to get TTS working in Android with EN. Any ideas please ? Thanks

Okay was able to update at least on one of our PCs to the latest10+ and wow it certainly is different cosmetically to say the least. One thing I miss is the Sync Button top left and a Sync option in Tools and the word count at the bottom. Hard to know if it has Synced. Where are these options now?

Many thanks. Yes using the MS Edge Browser does it once the Read it loud was selected. It reads all the note content beautifully, using comma's too !

I cannot see any Back arrow or way to go back to what I was just reading. Is there a way as it is a drag having to try and remember what it was and in what Notebook etc. Thanks oz

Hi.. No I dont have any attachment in any of the notes just about 4k words in each. I would imagine they would still work if I had them, altho ? I create a PDF from each Note individually but in Adobe 8 I Create one PDF by combining all indiv PDF files. It is the latest Win PC Evernote.

Sorry, yes it is a Win 10x64 PC and I use EN 6.25.1.9091. I have found a sync option in the Note Tools option so guess I can use it. I do use the Ctrl S but there doesn't seem to be any reaction so not sure if it does save it. I would like a little revolving circle on the actual note like it is in the home page. Many thanks for the help. Ah haa. I have just seen on that Tools menu it is the F9 key to save.

I have the note on full screen and zoomed in so the tect it is quite large abd can be seen easily. Can I use Ctrl-s to Sync/Save what I have done every now and then or do I have to go to the Sync button on top left of the Desktop Home Page ? Thanks
