About Wissler

  1. What I wanted is possible but the order should put the reminder date first as: !reminder date @ existing notebook # existing tab Thanks to whoever pointed this out. It's a very helpful feature.
  2. I'd very much like to have the ability to send mail to EN with the following attributes in the subject line: @ existing notebook # existing tab ! date Example: @ SutterStreet # taxation !2017/10/17 Currently we can send two attributes but not a third or more. This would be a low risk enhancement to EN as all three of these attributes can be associated with a note, it's not a structural change to EN that I'm proposing. Maybe I'll check out the APIs.
  3. sorry... frustrated... should say "does let me log in without requiring 2fa." Says "enable" which just keeps me enrolling in the 2fa process but keeps failing to act appropriately.
  4. I'm having the same problem as numerous others above. OS X 10.12.5, Firefox 52.2.1 (64-bit) . "Enrolled" a few times and went to apparently successful completion. Quit app in Firefox and the Evernote app. Evernote app and Web let me log it without required 2fa. I'm not willing to switch to Chrome.
  5. What's on my  mind?

Well, I'm wondering WTF MarkPage is and why I'm getting unsolicited ***** messages from him. I'm wondering why Evernote allows trolling and spamming.

I'm wondering about the credibility of Evernote as it seems to be diminishing over time. The VC's won't like that.

  6. I lost all content in a single note that is reasonably important to me. It's called "ToDo". I opened a trouble ticket and sent my log file to Evernote a day ago. I've not yet heard back so I started looking around this support forum and the Internet at large. It looks like I'll have to upgrade to Premium to retrieve my note content if I want it. I've been using Time Machine on OS X but it's not clear where Evernote keeps its data other than in the cloud. I thought it would be safe there, perhaps not. It is possible that I somehow deleted the content of my file before syncing with the cloud thereby essentially telling Evernote that the note should contain no data. I'll need to be much more careful with Evernote from now forward. Are there API's that I can use to work with Evernote? I'd like to use some API and command line to set up backups instead of working with the GUI.
