I have the same issue. The notebook just reappears in my desktop, but is gone when I access Evernote from the browser. So frustrating. I submitted a ticket.

I have this issue, if I search for a particular term, I get duplicate shadow notes showing up. I can't click on them, delete them, do anything with them. They just clutter things up. I've quit and restarted many times. You can see them in the screenshot - the notes with no photos are ghost notes.
