  1. It says I don't have permission to view that. Even when signed in.
  2. macOS 10.12.3 Evernote 6.11 (454874 Direct) I don't know when it started.
  3. I have tried copying text from both Chrome and TextEdit. In neither case is formating retained.
  4. Mac: [menu] Evernote > Preferences... > Formatting > uncheck "Automatically detect lists, lines, and emojis" Windows: [menu] Tools > Options > [tab] Note > uncheck "Automatically detect lists, lines, and emojis"
  5. Welcome, newcomer. What you have done here is called "hijacking a thread". It's not just frowned upon in this community, but everywhere on the internet. Create a new thread for new topics/needs. Include the address of this thread in yours for reference if needed. This behavior is very important because hijacked threads often become double the length that it would have needed to be otherwise and 50% of the info is noise to someone who found this thread searching for the original subject. Conversely, someone with the same need as you may not find the answer in this thread because when they see the unrelated subject in search results they are likely to skip it. It just makes finding answers and getting on with your life much easier when we obey this convention.
  6. There are plenty of Android apps that continue recording audio when the user multitasks, presses the home button, or uses the power button to turn off the screen. This bug in Evernote requires me to use an alternate app for recording audio. I prefer Easy Voice Recorder because of it great home widgets. I can start and stop recordings without even launching the app and then hit the power button to record with the screen off. Perfect. I wish Evernote did the same. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coffeebeanventures.easyvoicerecorder
  7. This is a very said state of affairs. https://support.evernote.com/ics/support/KBResult.asp?searchFor=background+audio&button=Search I'm using "Easy Voice Recorder" for my audio recordings. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coffeebeanventures.easyvoicerecorder There is no indication that Evernote knows or cares about this shortcoming. Edit: I have reported the issue where I linked to this thread. I suggest others do the same. Especially if you are a premium user. Choose "Get support or report a problem" from http://evernote.com/contact/support/ Also, let your voice be heard on Twitter. https://twitter.com/RichardBronosky/status/312616644386119680 This is a very old issue (Nov of 2011 at least) and it's time to get it resolved.
  8. This is a very serious issue. It's basically useless to have an audio recorder that cannot record in the background and requires the screen to be on. What is Evernote's position on this?
