About CarlosSz

  1. Yosemite look will be great. But please, review all AppleScript commands, specially find notes (it only searches in all notes even if a notebook is set). In addition, please add a way to know, via AppleScript, the note local address so we can get e.g. the preview (important to make a good Alfred workflow for example). Unfortunately right now I had to downgrade... Thank you in advance.
  2. This is not good. I (and many others I think) depend daily on the use of AppleScript with Evernote. I will not update to Ver 5.6 (or any version) until it is working properly with AppleScript. I had to downgrade… In years of using a Mac/PC this is possibly the first time I had to do that with an application.
  3. AppleScript find notes command is still broken: it does not search in a notebook anymore. Every search result returned is always from all notes.
  4. I write an Alfred 2 Evernote workflow and the latest Evernote app removed any clue on how to find the note location (folder or path) to make preview or quick look possible within Alfred. Before 5.6 the local ID command gave the note folder name but now it does not. It would be nice to have a way to get, via AppleScript, the note preview path so the Alfred quick look could work again.
  5. It seems that “source url” is not (yet?) listed officially in Evernote Search Grammar. However, it seems you can utilize sourceurl:* Here it finds notes with a source url but, for some reason, it does not list one note specially. Anyway you can also try a generic note searching e.g.: tell application id "com.evernote.Evernote" set x to every note of every notebook whose source URL contains "alfred"end tell Finally, check this topic.
  6. I’m trying to use Evernote again... However, my very first web clipping is not right. I can save an article as PDF using another software perfectly fine. However, Evernote web clipping is not saving the page formatting making the article unreadable. Here is the link: http://unixhelp.ed.ac.uk/CGI/man-cgi?find I hope there is a fix for things like this. Thanks.
