  1. Great news, gang!!! I posted a plea for this over in the General Forum, since it was getting no response here. Immediately got a reply from one of the Evernote Team folks. Here it is: Let's hope it really does go into the next update and fixes the issue! Cheers!
  2. Yes!!! Thank you so much! I and lots of other folks truly appreciate it! I'll pass the word along in the other thread.
  3. I just want to post this thread in the link to the General Forum, since it's not getting any traction after eons in other forum areas. Please, Evernote team, someone respond to this! Many users are affected by this and there's been no answer to the issue. https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/33048-extra-tab-for-web-clipper-keeps-opening-in-safari/?locale=en
  4. Thank you, Bonj, and EMGULS79 for your responses. I don't know why the Evernote team hasn't addressed this fully yet. The only solution I've had for it was to delete the Evernote Web Clipper from my browser. But that kind of defeats the purpose of having the web clipper. EMGULS79, thanks for the tip about using cmd + W to close it. Very helpful. Also, congratulations on having a 2006 Mac still running! You've gotten your money's worth from it!
  5. I know this thread is old, but it still has relevance. I upgraded to iOS (Yosemite) and it changed the way my Evernote Web Clipper acted. Safari opened fine to my home page, but it also began opening the Evernote Web Clipper page as well. Crazy annoying! And couldn't find anything in Preferences within Safari or Evernote to make it stop. So thanks to this old thread! I was about to ask this same question when I decided to check to see if anyone else had asked it. Apparently, it can still be an issue.
  6. AFAIK, EN does not integrate with contacts. What I do is put my contact info into Gmail (so it's available on my iPhone, iPad, PC, Surface, etc. Then I take a screen cap to get it into Evernote. I do take the time to change the subject line to the name, but with EN's image indexing, it works pretty well even if you don't do this. Thank you for the answer. Too bad they don't directly interact. When you say that you take a screen cap and put it into EN, are you doing that for each one of your contacts individually? I know, seems like a dumb question, but I want to clarify so I don't actually try to do something really stupid! Lol! Getting the contacts into Gmail was pretty easy, and merging duplicates went well once I did that, by the way. Not bad at all. Thanks again! Glenn
  7. Hi, I've read through the Knowledge Base and searched the help forums, but can't seem to find the answer to a question I have. How do I put my Contacts from my iPhone into Evernote? I see lots of info on getting EN Hello contacts to sync with Gmail, or how to scan business cards in, etc. but that's not what I'm looking for. I just want to store my iOS Contacts from my iPhone (and iPad) in Evernote. Is there a way to do this, other than typing them in one at a time? Thank you. I'm using current versions of EN, EN Hello, iOS on an iPhone 5 and iPad 2. Glenn
