About an_evernote_user

  1. When I'm working with longer notes (all text, but with bullet points if that's relevant), evernote becomes very sluggish. Right now, for instance, I'm working on a note with ~60 lines and there's about a 1-2 second delay between my key strokes and them actually registering. While monitoring activity log, it looks like evernote uses up ~25% of my CPU when it's sluggish. I've had this problem for a few months now. My computer is a Macbook Pro 11,3 so it should have no issues running evernote. I'm running yosemite, but I've had these problems before upgrading to yosemite. I'm using evernote 6.0.3 with premium.
  2. Reviving this issue because it is a huge nuisance. I used to have a subscription to evernote but have since cancelled it because of the inconsistent and buggy behavior of the bullets. When should we expect to get this issue addressed? I understand bullets are not relevant to some evernote users, but for many others like myself it is absolutely crucial. The only reason I haven't jumped to something like spring pad is because evernote has all my old notes, and I do not want to go through the hassle of exporting them.
