Hello I have an search-issue here, where I want to search for a word It shows 2299 notes but I am able to see only small part of it, as when I filter it with the Title it is only up to some numbers, how to see all notes? Anyone else have this issue?

I just bought mac and I am very happy abouy it. One cannot compare the speed of Ev10 on Mac and Win, so much difference! Working in the Win version was horror! Maybe here is not pefect but its huge huge difference. At least now, hope it will not slow down Thanks for tips guys

Oh really? Someone told me that the Mac version works smooth, I though it’s only the windows version problem

Thanks a lot. Unfortunately there is no alternative to that software I use as it is quite niche branch (astrology) and there is no alternative for the work I want to do with it. So what would be the best way to run it? It is the only soft from windows I need, rest I can get from Mac versions or web based. I understand that I can’t use it with the standard Wine? Also crossover the 60€ version won’t me to run this? I don’t want any parallel system like installing full windows I just want small emulator for small software. What would be your advice for this ?

What about crossover? I have seen many YouTube’s with how people are running even games on m1 with crossover? Isn’t that possible yet ? That’s very bad news as the main software I use for my job run only on windows

Yes I used Mac before for creating music and dj'ing. I am buying new Mac Pro M1 I am very happy to hear that the issues/slow/lag is not so heavy as on Windows (unbearable). I have 31000 notes. Other challenges are 1) ability to connect 2 monitors, I ve researched that only 1 monitor can be added, but I hope to add another one through USB adapter (like in my pc now). 2) To run the win-software for my work using the Wine app (I've also read there were some challneges with that with the new M1 Mac).

Hello guys! I wanna buy new laptop, I am thinking Mac Book Pro, Spectre or Dell xps. Since I am using mainly (80%) evernote for my work I am wondering if evernote on iOS performance is similar to windows or is much worse/better (on version 10 of EV)? I know that ev.10 has its own issues on both mac and windows I am also using 2 additonal monitors, one through vga driver, the other one with USB (on my current pc asus laptop) I wonder if I could do that on the Macbook Pro - probbaly would have to buy vga adapter and then use also usb adapter. Any tips are super welcome! What you guys recommend?

If you take into consideration a) how easy it is to change (they could just include simple switch options like for check spelling) + b) how many people it involves (all EN users from few countries, look at the popularity of this post on the forum) + c) how much it is debilitating (not only you cant write in en, but every program is affected) - it should be made PRIORITY. v10 has features which are not in v6 like colours highlights which for some are essential part of productivity. I dont understand how they can focus their resources on new features like home button where basic features like this short-cut bug or even more problematic - the lag/slow issue is not solved.

When I am searching. I am in particular notebook and when I type only tags from that notebooks appear. I am sure this was in some of the prev versions. I tried what you said but it only brings short list and then whn you click the tag, then the notebook filter disappears and it shows all notes under this tag Too bad this has gone..

I have the same every day I terminate via task manager - sometimes I need to repeat that 3 times

Is there a way in v.10 that when I type the letters of the tag it will only show me those tags related to that specific notebook? I remember there was this feature in the previous versions

Yes but some aspects of v.10 help my productivity - colours, easthetics and the feel it is more solid. Hard now go back to the grey poor v6. There is some shine to this which is important to me. It would be so great if the lambo would have the 4th wheel, and because the promise is given all the time, people are frustrated. I think it is quite expected and natural - lets say Ableton release version with some requested for long time things like colours and formatting and you play with it - it is great but there is another factor which takes all the fun away. It is like drinking sweet rice with sand - someone is then suggesting you tea - yes great no sand, but also you already tasted the sweet rice..sooo

It is like having Lambo with 3 wheels and Golf III which is allright. You are teased that Lambo may be ready and someone is telling you - hey why you are upset with your 3 wheels Lambo, be happy with your Golf - everything is functioning there. Hard to do that when you are teased with the Lambo

My list would be: Bit faster again - this is great news, but still too slow to use (31000 notes database). Is there any hope that this will improve to the usable level? So many updates already and still so slow. Opening notes is still slow. Creating new note takes around 20 seconds. The search function is also very slow Great shortcut to add tags! I like it! Yes it is bit quicker. Still far from being usable when it comes to lag. and still the white screen - have to terminate via task manager to run again
