  2. Thanks for this link but this is for the Windows versions. Any idea where to find old Mac versions?
  3. Another comment about how terrible the new version is. I'm going back.
  4. Deleting the group containers worked! thanks so much. I had seen this fix suggested but I was looking in the wrong place for the Group Containers.
  5. Hi Nick, I'm having a major problem with Evernote on my Macbook Pro (not on my imac or mobile devices.  I've used Evernote since it first came out and haven't had this problem.

Here's my saga in case you can help:

I started having trouble with this message: "EvernoteSpotlight wants to use your confidential information stored in "Evernote" in your keychain"

I tried to uninstall Evernote and install it again but I got an error message “please restart your app. During the upgrade process we had a problem moving your data to its new location. “ I didn’t want to update, I wanted a clean install.

CleanMyMac gives this error message: “/Users/lynnhayes/Library/Cookies/com.evernote.Evernote.binarycookies: “com.evernote.Evernote.binarycookies” couldn’t be removed because you don’t have permission to access it.”

I found the cookie files in the Library and deleted by hand. Also emptied trash. No remnants of Evernote could be found.

Ran the install (dmg) program. Again got the message “please restart your app. During the upgrade process we had a problem moving your data to its new location. “

  7. So my problem got worse. I was unable to airdrop anything, unsure that this was part of the Evernote issue I went ahead and uninstalled Evernote. Problem with Airdrop gone. But now I can't reinstall Evernote - it thinks it's updating and wants me to keep restarting. It's working fine on my Imac, the problem is on my Macbook Pro. I too am a premium user and have been for years.
