ok, found it. You have to use the clipper. then find the new note. Then click on the four squares in the upper left hand corner of the box that EN inserted. Then right-click and scroll to the bottom. Seriously??? You used to click on "Simplify formatting" in the (logical) Formatting tab.

I'm using EN 10.38.1 on a macbook pro running OSX 12.4. I've read this thread and tried everything. There IS NO Simplify Format option, not if I copy and paste on the mac, not if I use the clipper. It isn't there. period. When I go online and open the new note, it STILL isn't there. Not using Safari, not using other browsers. This is absurd.

Actually, there is a third option: splitting multiple images. Thats the problem i have. This happens if you are creating a note ising the camera, or if you combine notes with images. You can select individual images, but you cant cut them.

I agree. I need this functionality. It must be possible. When. I double click on one of several images in a note, EN selects just that one image. So it knows that this notes image is a collection. But I cant cut/paste that single image! And I have some very large compound images that would be painful to do one at a time, even if it were possible. Is there an applescript solution, maybe?
