The impression I am getting from the conversations here is this support forum is really just an echo chamber of users with no response/action taken from anyone related to EN... Thanks for the input all.

I agree that there are things to like about having tasks available for notes and I still love Evernote for notes and saving content from the web. 

I am a long-time subscriber (2008) and am really trying to like/use tasks. The inability to add tasks in tables and no subtasks is making this very challenging. I want to support the platform, but the obvious fact about tasks in general is that the current functionality is 10 years behind competitors. As a developer, I can tell you these requests (tasks in tables, subtasks) are not difficult and shouldn't take 3+ years to do. PLEASE accelerate these requests and give us a reason to stay with Evernote.

This long, ongoing request should be moved to a high priority. The ability and opportunity to create modern, multi-column note/task templates with tables is a no-brainer. If we can't add one of the key new Evernote features (Tasks) to a table cell, it limits the options to create robust ToDo/Task templates.
