    This may not help some above, but closing and reopening Evernote without killing the background process does not resolve the issue, I have to add that step for a complete Evernote restart.

    Hi there, I can confirm the issue you describe. Win10 laptop, up to date with all patches and latest Evernote. After Evernote has been open for a few hours, I can see the master index on the left and the thumbnails of the notes. But when I select the notes the notes editor is blank. I have to close Evernote and then kill the Evernote process in the taskbar and relaunch. Its then fine again for a few hours and the issue repeats.
