Cheers to Paul! My complaints was never in this forum because I was dealing with it in direct communication with support. He was one month ahead of me! -------- From: support-webform@evernote.com Date: 7/23/21 3:22 PM (GMT-05:00) Rosingm Subject: Ticket# 3350122 - Capitalize/change case runs the cursor up to the top Shane J. (Evernote Help and Learning) Jul 23, 2021, 12:22 PDT Hello there, My name is Shane and I am a member of the technical support team. I received your ticket from the customer support agent you previously spoke with. Let's see what I can do to help you out in regards to this shift key issue you are experiencing. We have just today started releasing a new version of Evernote for Android today. Please search for this update in the Google Play Store and update your app accordingly. After the update, are you still experiencing the same behavior when entering the shift key over highlighted text? I look forward to hearing back from you, Shane Abigail Vallejos (Evernote Help and Learning) Jul 21, 2021, 20:21 PDT Hello there! Thank you for making time to reach out to Evernote Customer Support. I am Abigail, and I am more than willing to assist you today! I understand that when you are trying to change the case formatting the cursor runs on top, and it also deletes the word. You have also been requesting for the change case functionality for years now, and still have no updates about it. Let me help you with this. With the request of having change case functionality for Windows, at the moment, I do apologize that this feature is not yet available in Evernote for Windows. As much as I would like to provide an exact time frame of when this will be added into the new Evernote, I don't have enough resources for that, since this is by design. With the gboard issues that you have, I have gone, and tested this on my side. Upon testing, I was able to reproduce the issue. The words that I try to change case formatting have been deleted also. I'm transferring this ticket now to our technical support team who will continue to assist you. Please know that they are working on your case, and will reply after they've had the opportunity to review the information you've provided. Thank you, and stay safe! Regards, Abigail V. Spelling correction - third or fourth time's a charm but it should only be once! This is another bug that I've been reporting this for years (no exaggeration!)... If I use the spell correct function it often takes three or more times choosing the suggested correction to get it to replace the offending word. It has nothing to do with esoteric words (it happens with common words), the spell recommendations are correct and the spelling is wrong but it won't correct the word until I go through the process at least three times. This doesn't happen all the time, and usually doesn't happen on demand, but I have recorded it and shared it with the Evernote tech team. They've confirmed it happening. Each time I report (many times) they do a little troubleshooting without a solution, apologize, tell me they'll get it solved, and then mark the report as completed or solved. You know by now it's not been solved. Maybe the sale to Bending Spoons will mean that someone actually cares enough to solve this bug too? I guess the responsiveness can't get any worse.

I've been reporting a bug with changing case of content in notes on Android. Gboard and others allow changing the case from all caps to capitalize first letter to sentence case to all lowercase. Whenever you try to use this standard functionality it doesn't happen and the cursor goes to the top of the note. I've never come across another app that has this problem. I've brought it up time and time again and again and again and again. Over years!!! All the Evernote team ever does is apologize, say that it's a known bug and on their work list and then eventually mark my comment as solved. Maybe the sale to Bending Spoons (Capitalizing that works fine - but not in an Evernote note!) will mean that someone actually cares enough to solve this bug? I guess the responsiveness can't get any worse.

HOWTO: Diff a conflict with the original
rosingm replied to joomux's topic in Evernote General Discussions
And in 2022 -
Mine do NOT return after a restart. I can read all of my notes on the legacy version, the web version and the Android version. Boy am I glad that I'm paying for premium! They don't have chat and they don't respond to emails (2). Paying member since April 2nd, 2011. MS Outlook hold the phone! It looks like I might be there soon.

Unable to access notes after Evernote upgrade.
rosingm replied to Martin shipperlee's question in General Technical Issues
I cannot access any of my notes (the snip is there but there is no content on opening) since changing to version 10 on windows! Chat is not available and I cannot reach any one to address -
Undo needs to have an icon for the toolbar. When using a table and pent, it is too much to go to edit (cannot do CTL/Z)
