I found that previewing YouTube videos (I use that feature a lot) is the source of the problem for me. When I hit it, I change the visualization of that video to Tittle only and EV behaves again… until the next one. Hope this helps someone Juan Carlos—

Thank you. The weird thing is that I got that message AFTER another one that replied to my original message to them. That message of theirs, although also quite general, did ask me for the logs and stuff, and I dutifully replied with all the info. Then, in a separate thread, I got the one referenced above, so I lost hope. I'll wait... Thank you again.

I did raise a ticket to EV support and after asking for me to redo a long series of steps that I'd explained before I already did and after asking me for many details (windows version, screenshots, sending them the logs...) they replied with: We are currently restructuring the Evernote Customer Support department to ensure we can deliver a better service to you and all our customers. Then they direct me to read the resources available at Help & Learning and, if the problem persists, they prompt me to start from the beginning, and document it all:_ As many details as possible regarding your request and experience All the steps that you took to resolve your doubts or issues after referring to the Help & Learning resources. Hello, With 10.67.4 the problem somehow persists, but not so exacerbated. Now, as crazy as it sounds, it seems the issue is related to a high GPU usage (75%) when an EV note includes a YouTube video: if I scroll the note so that the YouTube video (which is not being played) is no longer visible, the CPU drops to a high but not crazy 10% or so. Thanks for your answer. I didn't reinstall with Revo (I'm reluctant on using it), I did check the acceleration setting (Task Manager actually says EV is using the GPU). How do I contact support? Juan Carlos---

Thanks for your answer. I did: the following screenshot is with 10.67.2 and 3D acceleration enabled (as per the "GPU 0 - 3D" label in the GPU engine column). If I minimize the EV window the CPU consumption drops to 0%!: And for completeness, this is how it looks with the non-sluggish EV 10.64.5: Hope a quick fix is on the works. I'm keeping 10.64.5 running all the time and reinstalling ir every time I'm forced to restart. Juan Carlos---

Just posting to add myself to the list of crawling Evernote users. Add an installer in my Download folder for 10.64.5 and I'm using that at the moment.

Hi! Evernote freezes consistently for some seconds when I'm editing a note, change the window to check something in a web browser or some such, and come back to EN. I'm using the latest EN version (updated today) in MS Windows 10 Pro, all latest updates installed. This is happening from a few days ago when I changed my laptop from a Lenovo T480 to a T15, which also resulted in me downloading the latest EN version at that time. This is utterly annoying!! Hi all! Any update on this issue? I just migrated to v10 and I'm devastated by this as I have literally hundreds of links in EN notes to local files using the "file:///" syntax, specifically "file:///\\shareddisk\path\file.ext" Existing links do not work (they appear as "file:///%5C%5Cshareddisk...") and I can not create new ones.
