  1. @froboy - We are aware of the bug and working on a fix. The simple work around is to enable "Show advanced options after a screen snap" and when you do a timed shot on a second screen the tools will show and you can click on the clock to start the timed shot. Right now on the second monitor Skitch is treating that as a region capture instead of a timed.
  2. Unfortunately at this time we do not have a way to change the key commands for Windows and Windows doesn't have a similar remapping feature like OS X. This is a known issue, but we don't have an ETA on when we'll have custom key mapping in Skitch for Windows.
  3. Quick update: We've traced the issue back to the Skitch Helper app. It appears that while the main app will respect your defined custom key mapping helper apps like Skitch Helper are not updated by OS X. We will have to investigate an alternative way to solve this problem.
  4. We're looking into this. Might be a bug, though Skitch should respect the system-wide change.
  5. @RyanMT3 - There are some technical and design reasons why we do not allow for stamp resizing at this time. As we continue to evolve the stamp tool, we'll look into variable sizes.
  6. @Da Da Currently Skitch does not allow for setting custom shortcuts inside of Skitch, but if you're using a recent version of OS X there is a way to over-ride our settings. You can do the following (btw this works for most applications): Step 1 - Go to System Preferences. Step 2 - Go to Keyboard Step 3 - See pic below: Step 4 Step 5 - Quit and restart Skitch. You must do this in order for OS X to over-ride our settings. OS X requires you type the name exactly as it is written in the app. For example: If you want to over-ride "Fullscreen" simply type that as the Menu Title. If you want to over-ride "Screen Snap..." you have to type: Screen Snap OPTION+; (the key combo not the actual word OPTION)
  7. @Joe - Those are two good requests and all I can say is... soon. On a side-note the reason for the stroked border around the text is to increase the readability regardless of background. We've done a lot of R&D on how to make the text as readable as possible on as many backgrounds as possible. You'd be surprised how hard it is to make text stand out on any background.
  8. We didn't reimplement multiple fonts for Skitch 2.x launch for two reasons: From our interviews with users, and looking over usage data, we found very users were actually changing fonts. So when we rewrote Skitch's code from scratch, we decided to de-prioritize this feature. The bigger reason though is cross platform support. Since Skitch is currently available on 5 platforms (Mac, iOS, Android, Windows Touch, & Windows Desktop) and in 19 languages (soon to be 20) , it's difficult to guarantee that the same font on platform A is going to look the same on platform B. And remember Skitch 1.x was Mac only. The cross platform and language support is the big thing that's slowing this feature down. From our investigation we only have three potential options: Allow for a limited set of fonts that are best represented across all platforms and languages and hope for the best when it comes to rendering <- Not a very ideal user experience.Embed the font in every note, so the font is the same across every platform and language <- This is possible, but it could result in some very big note files and this could be confusing to users. Also this doesn't work very well with future platform concepts we're exploring. Create our own fonts that are custom drawn in every client <- This is also possible, but not the easiest thing to pull off (you want the font to look good). In short we'd like to solve this problem. It's on our list of things to do, especially as more users ask for it. Our challenge is how do we use a font that is easy to read on any platform and in any language against any kind of background. It needs to present well so users from anywhere in the world can use it visually communicate.
  9. @NimhOfJoy - You currently cannot change the font. This is on our long-term roadmap.
