On iOs I can choose to keep my notes locally or not.
On the Mac, they should be kept locally. At least that's what I thought ...
So what you are saying now is that, if I don't have access to the internet, I can't search my notes any more on my Mac? -
Yesterday I installed version 10.12.6 (2583) on my Mac.
Now searching is terribly slow and sometimes I'm getting no results, though there should be.
When I do the same search in Evernote Legacy, I get correct results instantaniously. -

What happens if you push the 'email a copy' button at the bottom on the left?
For me it works.
I agree, it's not very clear that this is a button.

Then why wasn't it like that in the 'old' version of Evernote? With this new EN, if you 'forget' to open EN on your device while sharing, you could loose notes. This happened to me already.
Before (old EN) sharing worked seamlessly. Now there's always the fear that something could go wrong.

Hi Gordon, you are absolutely right and I also hope the tabs will return soon.
Meanwhile you can download the old Evernote, called Evernote Legacy now, from the download pages.

In a search using tags I have 5 results in V10, 6 results in V7. V7 is correct.- 1

Priorities differ from person to person and workflow to workflow.
But you are right: there's a lot that needs to be fixed.
It's incomprehensible that Evernote released such incomplete/buggy versions on all platforms.- 1

When I start (or restart) Evernote, it doesn't remember the last windows size and position regularly.
So I have to resize each time.
This works well in the legacy version. -
I would like to be able to add/remove tags in the Note Info window, as was possible in the Legacy Evernote version.

I agree with you. I'm happy the feature is back, but it's inefficient.
I was used to just quickly type the date in the field, now I have to select it on a calendar.- 4

I know, a long title, but it says it all
When I share an article from eg. Safari towards Evernote, it only appears in my inbox after opening the Evernote App.
This is really not an efficient and intuitive way of working.
It wasn't like that in previous versions.

In iOs (iPhone and iPad) sort options are not working on notebook stacks.

Each time I open Evernote on my iPhone , I get the All Notes - list.
It woud be nice if Evernote could remember the last Notebook I used on quitting, and open the app again in this same Notebook.
Going to a default Notebook would be a good option too.

Offline notebooks don't download completely. Also it's impossible to turn the existing notebooks off in preferences.

Thanks for your anser, I will contact them immediately.
As far as I can see there are no errors in the logs.
