Hi All, With the closure of Google +, we've launched this new section within the discussion forums to act as a centralized location where we will announce new beta releases for Evernote for Android, and where users can share their questions, thoughts, and feedback regarding those betas! If you're wondering how to enroll in the Android Beta for Evernote, please see this. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any other questions!

Hi All, We've just updated the discussion forums with a section dedicated to Evernote Betas! This was done to help us centralize Evernote Beta announcements, as well as the feedback, thoughts, and questions from users specifically regarding Evernote Beta versions, into one location. Also, for those of you who have tested the Evernote Beta for Android in the past, we've moved that Google + community here as Google will no longer be supporting the Google + communities in the future. Please note that these structural changes only affect Evernote Beta announcements, and any announcements regarding GA releases for the Evernote Clients will continue to appear in their regular locations. Let @Shane D. know if you have any questions!

Probably the best way is to use Evernote web version on evernote.com. Full screen is the best distraction free interface for evernote.

In the registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Evernote\Evernote) there is a key called ShowLeftPane. You could try setting that to 1 when you have completely exited Evernote (check that the Clipper and Tray application are closed as well in the Task manager.

Hi All, I wanted to take some time to announce some changes you’ll be seeing in the discussion forums that we hope will help to improve your experience! First, we will be enabling a feature called Best Answer that will enable the person that starts a thread to mark a specific reply/comment as the ‘Best Answer’. This will then mark the thread as ‘answered’, and enable other users to quickly see that the question has been answered. To mark a reply as a Best Answer simply click on the 'check mark' icon in upper left hand corner of the post you're marking: When marked with a Best Answer, the thread will look like this: Then, you can see the 'Best Answer' clearly marked in list of forum posts: Our hope is that the Best Answer feature will better enable users who are asking questions to get the information they’re looking for, while also enabling users that have similar questions to find that same information more easily. Secondly, we’ve received a lot of feedback on the similarities between the FAQ’s and Best Practices sections. As there is a lot of overlap between the two, we’ll be merging the FAQ’s and Best Practices into a single forum under the banner FAQ's: Best Answers Moving forward, the FAQ's: Best Answers section of the forums will become a repository for the Best Answers we see in the other parts of the forums. Essentially, think of the FAQ's: Best Answers sections as a sort of best answers hall of fame.

It would be beyond phenomenal if the reading spot was recalled or returned to when entering back into a note from the Recent‘s section or something of the like. Functionality like the Pocket App! Thank you

Congratulations to all you Mojave Mac users out there, you have something we all want; A Dark Mode! Meanwhile, in the Windows world, our eyes still bleed. According to an official statement, you are working on other things, but we think you should be working on this dark mode thing, as it's still the most requested feature. The original thread for a dark theme has been locked but this feature has not been implemented for a large section of your customer base. So let us reiterate; Evernote Wizards. Please, give windows users a dark theme. Best Regards, Your Paying Customer

I wish there was a way to jump to specific lines within one note. Some of my notes are often ~500 lines long. It can easily become quite cumbersone to manually scroll up and down between the two or more paragraphs that I'm currently editing. TextPad, Notepad++ and PhpStorm have this great feature usually called "Bookmark" where you can set (or toggle) a flag on a line with F3, and jump to them with F2. That would be tremendously helpful. Another good option would be to display the line numbers (as also suggested here [1]) and then let me "Go to Line …" via a prompt where I can directly enter that line number – another feature common in such text editors. … At the very least, you could just display the line numbers, so that people could have a chance to remember the lines themselves "the old fashioned way" (human memory) and find them more comfortably. I think the source of confusion here is really that the default behavior, infix search, is a superset of prefix search. That is, searching "term" searches "*term*", while the prefix option removes the initial wildcard, "term*". But I can sympathize with whoever wrote the description for that option, because it's not really that easy to explain without an example.

"Match notebooks by word prefix in the Notebook Picker": The notebook picker is invoked in at least three places that I can think of off the top of my head: the Copy Note command, the notebook dropdown in the note editor, and the notebook dropdown in the multi-select panel. If the option is enabled, then when you type into the edit control, matches are presented by matching the on first part of words in notebook titles (this is what the "prefix" bit refers to). Example: if I have a notebook "Imported Notes", then to match it, I can type either (e.g.) "imp" or "no", etc. If I type "port" then that won't match this notebook name. On the other hand, if the option is disabled, then "port", "ote", ect. will also match. I verified this just now in version 6.14.14. With respect to the tag picker, more or less the same deal. Exercise left for the reader to verify... Edit: To be more specific to the given example, "prefix" refers to prefixes of words (i.e., space, and possibly delimiter separated characters) in a notebook or a tag name. So "My Wife's Family" consists of three (or maybe four; needs verification) words, and characters types in a note picker are matched against the words in a notebook name, not the name itself.

I was able to get "Print to Evernote" working on macOS 10.12.5, EN 6.11 (from the browser or wherever) "Print" (If in Chrome, "Print Using System Dialog") Tap "PDF" in the bottom left corner (assuming "Evernote" isn't on the menu) "Edit Menu..." Tap the + sign Select the "Evernote" application from the Applications folder "OK" Now select "Evernote" from the "PDF" drop down menu Voila! Now you can print directly into Evernote. Or at least it works for me... -- Ken Chin-Purcell

This is a huge issue for me. I'm a long time Evernote basic user and just signed up for the free trial of premium because I want to start to be able to highlight in pdfs. But just as the other users on here mention, the pdf has a good resolution before and after annotating, but during annotation, its incredibly blurry and difficult to be able to read the text. The only suggestion they help chat suggested was to annotate at "100%" instead of more zoomed in, but this makes the text too small to see properly as well. I'm definitely disappointed as I preferred to use Evernote for all my note taking needs, but guess I won't be able to.
