Thanx, feel foolish that I didn't pick that up. So now, all I need is a short-cut key.

I feel on the biggest missing features is native support for Markdown. Please add native Markdown to Evernote.

Hi , I think it is would be cool and useful if the Table in evernote could do some basic Calculation like excel , no need so complex like what excel do , but some calculation between cell. This can Help a lot when someone want to sum the value of ingredient for example or many things that need some basic calculation . Well , that is what tables usually used for , isn't it . It would be much help rather than manually calculate the value one by one in the table . Hope you would reconsider this Idea , Thank you .

If you could add this feature, it would make my life complete!!!! So it would be a reminder/alarm at a regular period ie. every Monday at 10am, the last day of each month, every day at midday etc. etc.

Right now it's a multistep-process to manually link two notes with each other. Coping the note link, inserting it in the other on and if necessary copy the link of the other note to link back at the initial note. With nearly 5,000 notes in Evernote it get's more and more important to build networks, otherwise a huge amount of notes never gets looked at. Maybe at the bottom of each note (where the 'context' section is) you could place a little search bar to enter other note (titles) to connect them with each other. This way it would be more easier to jump between related notes and manually add such connections instead of relying on the 'context' feature.

Just more garbage from this ever increasingly terrible app... Today I have a note in the mac application with a bunch of screenshot images and now I am finding that "annotate image" no longer appears when right clicking on half of the images in this note file — but if I close the note, come back to it SOMETIMES I can select annotate and then I can right-click again and that option is no longer available. So I guess the ability to draw a friggin arrow on a screenshot is something I have to once again do in Photoshop? Combined with the fact the web application keeps deleting updates to notes without auto-saving them as I work this is crippling me right now. I am very actively looking at replacing this app. I've been a paid customer for years but Evernote is on the VERY TOP of my list when I give user experience presentations as a UX architect as one of the most broken piece of garbage apps I've ever used which continues getting worse by the week. There are a few more but Evernote is the #1 buggiest piece of software I use and it would take me a week to document everything I find broken in the app if I were to create a forum thread for each. The facts are that most of the bugs I find have forum threads going back 10+ years of people complaining about the same broken feature. I assume the developers at this company hate their jobs.

I use, exclusively, the Checkbox format for all my notes. We need to be able to sort contents of these notes -- should be options to do this: 1) alphabetical by items in the list 2) By Unchecked Vs Checked (and alphabetical as a secondary sort, within the unchecked/checked caterogries) 3) by date modified All sort criteria should have the option for direction of sort, for both secondary and primary sorts. (By "direction" I mean like A-Z or Z-A) In case you can only implement this in parts, please do the following as highest priority -- Sort Unchecked before Checked. PLEASE. But we really need alphabetical within that also. Thank you. Please understand that this is IMPORTANT for MANY users. We have been troubled and annoyed by this deficiency for many years. Frankly, it's surprising that a product as good as Evernote should be lacking in functionality for something so basic. I tried to post this issue on one of the Evernote Forums some years ago, but was dismayed to see rude responses to this very suggestion from other users. So, I have refrained from posting anything to the forums. Your forums should be monitored by people who treat all users with respect and dignity. Hopefully, someone will finally take this seriously. Thank you.

I use Evernote on the Windows client at work, the web client at home, and mobile client when I am not at a computer. I jump between instances of the same notes a lot. I have been using Evernote for quite some time now, and have continually battled data loss when updating notes that are stale/outdated. Can this please be prioritized? I have made threads about this in the past and I have seen many other users talk about the same thing here. Usually, each thread gets the same response: "Make sure to refresh your browser/sync your clients before updating a stale note!" That is a workaround, not a solution. I forget to do this all the time. There are many documented and implemented ways to prevent accidentally updating outdated documents for REST API's. I have personally implemented one of these. Can this request please reach a developer so the community can know when this issue will be addressed?

Yes, I do have a business account. I also have a personal premium account. In the personal account I can add Evernote in the web interface by creating an email and clicking on the dropdown menu- bottom of message (three dots). You will see Evernote listed there and you then execute a sign in to your Evernote account. I have included a link to the MS instructions, however in my Outlook the drop down is on the bottom of the message and the interface is a bit different. I am not sure how well this cascades to your desktop. Evernote for Outlook

@PinkElephant, thanks, I found it and sent them a tweet-ticket. No, I created the notebooks in the W10 app/client. I also use the iPhone app. They're not appearing in either. Yes, there notes are in each. 2 in one and 12 in the other. @CalS, thanks. I am just using one account.

I have a MS Office 365 account and Outlook v16.23 in my Mac. The 'Save to Evernote' icon appears on my toolbar and works for every email account I have operating there; MS O365 Exchange, iCloud and a standard IMAP account. I loaded the 'Send to Evernote' feature in my O363 online 'dashboard' where you can select apps. When I first installed, it took some time to appear on my desktop version of Outlook. After a restart it was there and has worked well ever since.

I know this is an old post, but I just wanted to say thanks because this was quite helpful to me. Prior to this, I just had to live with my stuff ups or resort to recreating the original notes.

Sorry, @Nick L., I don't get why you would bother with even a Beta release that doesn't do much, and no details of the changes are provided. How can anyone test without knowing the changes??? And why would they bother, given all the issues that remain? Surely it cost time and effort to put out every release. Is this really a good use of Evernote resources?

I might have found the possible cause of this problem => images can only be annotated after they are uploaded to Evernote server? After my note finish syncing, I can annotate those images in it again.

@DTLow, to be clear: I'm not trying to troll the Evernote forum. The product is co-branded by Evernote and was advertised by and sold to me directly by Evernote. If nothing else, Evernote is the vendor from whom I bought the much advertised product, which is no longer working as advertised. As such, I am addressing my issues with my contractual counterparty. I expect that Evernote has much better access to people at Fujitsu than I do. I expect Evernote to work together with Fujitsu to make sure that the updates are released in a timely manner. I believe this is not an unreasonable expectation.

Please let us select the thumbnail picture shown in the note previews. I read the forum and I saw there is an annoying work around, but that's why I'm requesting this feature for real. Something like: • right click the image and select "Use this as Preview image" (I believe this should be the easiest to implement) • right click the note preview and select "Pick a thumbnail" that leads to a small selection of the images available inside that note • right click the image and set a priority that overrides the current priority These are just ideas, but any of those would be amazing so we have decent control over the thumbnail pic!

vote for this idea. Sometimes we may use copy but the copy also copy the format from the original article. we don't want that format...

Grammarly does not work in the desktop app, right? I would love this integration, similar to how Grammarly integrates into Microsoft Word. I'll post this as a product idea.
