  1. It is bothersome that the numbered list format does not distinguish between different levels of the list. Currently the list format is: Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 Level 2 It would be better if it were formatted like: 1. Level 1 A. Level 2 (1) Level 3 B. Level 2 I tagged this with names of all the platforms because it seems to be the case in all of them.

  2. A recent update moved icons from the header bar. Users want the choice of which icons appear. This is currently a feature on the Windows platform

  3. Checkbox items are now double spaced. This is really annoying as some of my notes are entirely lines of checkboxes and are now twice as long to scroll through and difficult to see.

  4. Windows doesn't have this functionality unfortunately. The closest is Ctrl+Q, but it doesn't display note titles.. I tag all those important notes with a tag with the same name as the title, since an "intitle:" search in the search bar won't highlight where in the title there is a search match, which is unfortunate as well..

  5. Found this tool in another thread, and it worked for me: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/fix-problems-that-block-programs-from-being-installed-or-removed

  6. If the gurus on the page are getting paid to defend the company I missed the memo. With that said, I have seen a lot of complaining online (not just here in the forum) about the product and demanding things change to a single persons liking. That's not how that works. Are there things that I would like to see come to EN and some I would like to see leave EN? Of course there are. But am I bashing or leaving the product because of it? No. As much as I like to think that I'm the center of my own little world, I do realize that there are others using the service as well. If it gets to the point wi

  7. Installed 7.5.2 hoping and praying my note list would be readable again.... <sigh> ... please fix this guys Also want to add, that turning off "Reduce Transparency" still doesn't fix this. Here's how that looks (black text on dark grey=impossible to read) bug filed: #2675262

  8. Hi All, I'm very excited to announce that we have officially increased the notebook limit from 250 to 1,000 for all paid tiers! You can see those new limits here: https://help.evernote.com/hc/articles/209005247 If you have any feedback/suggestions regarding this update, please post them in the notebook limit feature request thread: We will likely lock this thread soon. At that time, please feel free to reach out to me directly, or start a new thread regarding your feedback, suggestion, or concern!

  9. Hi All, You may have noticed that all threads requesting the ability to manually set a note's thumbnail/snippet have been merged into this thread, regardless of platform specificity. This was done in order to better enable us to quantify and qualify user requests, and amplify their voice. While this does not mean this is a feature that will be coming, we certainly want to relay user feedback/sentiment to our various teams. Moving forward, please put all commentary and votes the ability to manually set a note's thumbnail/snippet here!

  10. I completely agree with @SashaS and many of the rest of you. My thoughts exactly. Such a useful and obvious feature, as to almost be assumed: Right click image in note "Set image as Snippet" Right click note in list "Remove Snippet" EN -- this is the kind of thing that drives users crazy. Let's make this happen.

  11. Why I'm using Evernote Premium and still don't have this feature available?!!?

  12. I think it's obvious, at this point, that Evernote users want the ability to select the default thumbnail for notes. I agree that it seems ridiculous that this conversation started in 2013 and 4 years later this hasn't been added to the application. As a visual person, the thumbnail helps me quickly find what I'm looking for. For example, when I'm looking for a recipe for pancakes, an image of the video (pertaining to the recipe) of two cooks doesn't help me find what I'm looking for. I need to be able to select the pic of the stack of pancakes. The whole purpose for using Evernote is

  13. This is one of my top requests. I think you can determine which image is shown according to the vertical size of the image (& maybe the horizontal size plays in too but the vertical size seems most important). But I hate attaching a huge vertical image just to keep my cover image as the one I want. I wish I could simply designate the image I want used for the cover image. That would be really great. Thanks, Evernote. You're awesome.

  14. I fully second that! It's such a basic feature, it's amazing that it still isn't there after so many years.

  15. I have some very long notes, and i move between different notes. Whenever i come back to a note, i need to scroll all the way down to add text, or find the position i was at. desired behavior: If possible, allow us to choose if upon opening a note, the cursor moves: 1. to the beginning of the note 2. to the end 3. to the same position i was at when I last visited the note. Allow us to override it for specific notes or notebooks. Evernote is great - let's make it even better. Thanks.

  16. I would like to see following additions: - Option to switch between 'automatic' (based on algorithm) en 'manual' - Option 'set as thumbnail' for the image within the note TX!

  17. I fully agree with these issues re numbered and multi list formatting. This has been driving me crazy for years. Why are we not able to do this in Evernote? And to subject your users to this for years (ever since I've started using Evernote about 7-10 yrs ago I think) is bordering on ridiculous for user support. To re-address these issues, we should be able to implement multi-level formatting incorporating both numbers and various styles of bullets such as the following: 1. first line of text o sub level element o next sub level element - 2nd sub level element

  18. REQUEST – It would be amazing to have a feature where an image can be selected, and when you right-click (ie, the same way you rotate it, etc.) there could also be an option to override the "largest smallest-dimension" algorithm and set that image as the note's thumbnail. A little background –– One thing I use EN for very heavily is as an artist database for my job. I really like having both a photo of the artist and an example of their artwork at the top of their card. However, when I'm scrolling through snippet or card view, it would be really helpful to have the image of the
