I feel on the biggest missing features is native support for Markdown. Please add native Markdown to Evernote.

Evernote Wizards. Please, give us a dark theme. My eyes are bleeding with how bright your default theme is. (both web & desktop) No suprise, it is mostly white. A great choice for clean design, but ultimately a fail for intensive use. Please, give us a dark theme. Best Regards, Your Paying Customer

A recent update to Chrome seems to have broken Clipper completely. Evernote responded by diving in and fixing it with an emergency bypass, but the 'new' clipper lacks notebook selection and comments amongst other things. Evernote say they'll bring back missing features when they can (my wording - they may have been more definite and more urgent than that). If you want want Evernote to put fixing the Chrome clipper and bringing back all the original features to the top of the list and treat it as Priority 1, please vote here! Remember you can still use other browsers, or change your workflow to get around these missing features, but the changes completely break any Chrome users' workflow!!

Hi all, Evernote is brilliant - could not navigate life without it!! A feature that I feel is dearly needed and would be tremendous to have is the ability to create an anchor point in notes. eg if I am working on a lengthy note and constantly referring to other notes at the same time I want the ability to specify a point where I am working in that note so I can go straight back to it. Also, when you open a note it goes straight to the start of the note. You always have to scroll down to the bottom of the note to add to it. Many thanks for any comments.

I love Evernote, but it's preventing me from putting in sensitive content. For example, I can't keep a personal journal notebook, because other people (i.e. girlfriend, family members, etc.) could one day be looking at those notes, especially since they know that I use Evernote often for many purposes. Evernote already has the ability to encrypt single notes. This is useful for things like storing passwords or other temporary sensitive content. But it's not practical to encrypt many notes one by one. I wish I could password-protect a whole notebook. This way, I can do a lot more with Evernote. If I can encrypt single notes, then why can't Evernote just allow me to encrypt entire notebooks? If reason behind this is because Evernote thinks one could lose a lot of data if a notebook password is forgotten, then perhaps Evernote can help recover the passwords through email. In the meantime, I'm stuck with using other apps (i.e. Pages, Day One, etc) to password-protect my content. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi All, I'm very excited to announce that we have officially increased the notebook limit from 250 to 1,000 for all paid tiers! You can see those new limits here: https://help.evernote.com/hc/articles/209005247 If you have any feedback/suggestions regarding this update, please post them in the notebook limit feature request thread: We will likely lock this thread soon. At that time, please feel free to reach out to me directly, or start a new thread regarding your feedback, suggestion, or concern!

Feature Request: Add Outlining Capabilities to Evernote Evernote is great, but it's dying for the ability to create Notes that contain Outlines which are easily collapsed and expanded during creation and in use. One way to implement it would be a switchable editing mode, between standard formatting or outline mode. In outline mode, pressing the Enter key creates a new outline item, and pressing the Tab key changes the current item into a sub-item. Clicking on an item's action icon causes its sub-items to collapse out of, or expand into view. That's the way the Ecco Pro PIM did it, and something simple like that would be a good start for Evernote. The name Evernote implies a product that takes notes -and collapsible/expandable outlines are a huge part of note taking.

Dear All, I really would love to see a solution for archiving notes. I've been using for 4 years and now I have some notes that I want to keep in the system, but want to remove from my search. As time goes, my search are getting more difficult to separate valid information and archived information. Like we have Notes, Notebook, Tags, Atlas, Market and Premium button on the Mac version, I dream with an Archive button. Every note I move to this icon will make it not searchable, unless I'm searching inside the Archive View. You could even move a completely Notebook. I have many scenarios where this is valid, some of them here: You finished a graduation course full of notes and you want these notes in a place that you may need but normally it will not be part of your search or have a distract visual in All Notes ViewYou closed a company and want all the notes in a special placeYou may not want to have this Archive notes in your local hard disk, unless you click "Download"You prepare for a vacation and suddenly canceled. You want to have this hide in some place but not displaying all the time. I think it would be a great feature. Thank you, Patrick Santana

REQUEST – It would be amazing to have a feature where an image can be selected, and when you right-click (ie, the same way you rotate it, etc.) there could also be an option to override the "largest smallest-dimension" algorithm and set that image as the note's thumbnail. A little background –– One thing I use EN for very heavily is as an artist database for my job. I really like having both a photo of the artist and an example of their artwork at the top of their card. However, when I'm scrolling through snippet or card view, it would be really helpful to have the image of their artwork always be the one to show up. This usually happens but there are a few times where the photo of the artist is used instead. I've read up on the algorithm that chooses the image with the "largest smallest-dimension" (PS, see what I did there with the hyphen? Way clearer that way.) and I am actually OCD enough to try to amend the file sizes to have the algorithm pick the right one. However, even this doesn't seem to work – it's probably me because I guess an algorithm can't lie, but even when I resize the images, it's still not choosing the right one. So my question is – why would that be happening? Could it be that once EN's algorithm chooses an image, it always chooses that filename even when the size changes? But what would be SO MUCH EASIER is my *request* – could there be an override option to the largest smallest-dimension algorithm (which I agree does work at least half of the time for me) to choose a thumbnail? I'm not talking some fancy thing in the settings where you tell EN how to pick your thumbnails – that sounds like way more work than it's worth. I just imagine, like I've said above, having the image you want to be the thumbnail highlighted/selected, then right click (in the same way that you can rotate an image, etc.) and have something like "set as note thumbnail." Please?? Thank you!

I think Evernote is a fantastic product, especially with the iPhone integration. I currently use a program called UltraRecall because of it's heavy use of subfolders. This makes organizing my data very logical. I was wondering if Evernotes has a way to create subnotebooks under existing notebooks to help group numerious notebooks together? Example Notebooks: Work Clients Customer1 Customer2 Customer3 Customer4 Personal Electronics Web Clips

Thank you for Evernote and the Clipper. Please allow me to register my upvote as well. I would like to see these Web Clipper Chrome extension features reinstated: 1. Keyboard shortcuts. 2. Ability to customize keyboard shortcuts. 3. The note/comment field. 4. The folder search field. 5. Highlighting. 6. The ability to search for tags by typing any text that occurs in the tag name -- NOT JUST the beginning of the name. In addition, I would like these new features: 1. In past versions of the Clipper, about 10%-25% of the time I would often get a dialog (the same sort of dialog that JavaScript's window.alert() method creates), saying the Web Clipper couldn't be started on that page. Nevertheless, the Clipper UI did always come up once I clicked the OK button. (I haven't used today's iteration of the Clipper enough to see if this is still an issue.) Please fix that. 2. Make keyboard shortcuts work CONSISTENTLY (in past versions, my main Clipper shortcut key didn't do anything about 25%-50% of the time, but hitting the toolbar icon almost always worked). 3. The ability to add reminder date/time notification when clipping. 4. Stop resetting Clipper preferences when the extension is updated (e.g. changing the folder option to auto-file; changing the action to perform once Clipper is done; etc.)

Please introduce different colors highlight! In previous versions of the software - before the highlight button was inserted - I was able to highlight in different colors by using Mac's text contextual menu. Now it's impossible... Please introduce this option, its helpfulness is crucial! Thanks, dario

I read Ian's introductory blog this morning. He said he wanted to hear from customers. I couldn't find an easy way to pass along my feedback. Ian, I hope you'll read this. I think I'm one of your earliest users. My first note is dated 1/3/09. I was using a Mac at that time but switched to Windows, back to Mac, and back to Windows. For a while I used a Windows touchscreen laptop. I have Evernote installed on my iPhone and iPad. I've tried OneNote. Bleh... As I think about the apps that make the use of a computer worthwhile, there are just a few: a web browser, Microsoft Office, an email client, photo editing software, an autocorrect utility, a screen grab utility – and Evernote. Rumors of Evernote's demise greatly concerned me. I am hooked on using Evernote as sort of a Swiss Army knife to use to write down my thoughts, keep notes on various things, capture snippets of information, etc. I use the Web Clipper all the time. It is very handy to capture a note on one device and look it up on another device. It's been hugely important to be able to load Evernote on a new computer and have almost 10 years of notes, thoughts, and information magically appear on it. But I've had my share of frustrations too. Only recently the dictionary function on Windows seemed to get fixed. Really? The UI is all over the place. Honestly, I never seem to remember how to use the iOS apps, both of which are oddly different. Touch on my Dell laptop didn't work because Evernote stopped supporting touch (maybe you do now; I don't have a touchscreen laptop now). I have lived through the Evernote Moleskine days and all of that distraction. In 10 years I've never really felt like Evernote truly knew what its center of gravity was. I hope that will change. Here are some thoughts... Make Evernote nice to look at and easier to use: It's been a while, but I recall that the Mac UI was really nice. The Windows UI is utilitarian. Hire some designers and UI experts and spruce it up. Create some consistency between the iPhone and iPad apps and allow users like me to easily move between them. But don't dumb Evernote down: If I want a dumb note app, I can use Google Keep. OneNote used to be overly complicated and now they have made it overly dumb. Easy to use should mean easy to use, not dumbed-down to the lowest common denominator. You probably should support Markdown: It's not my cup of tea, but why not offer it to customers who love it? I think there are a lot of folks out there would would prefer to write notes in Markdown. This is my cup of tea: I would like the choice of a more sophisticated editor. I don't want a Word clone, but some more formatting tools would be nice. One thing I would love is the ability to set my own paragraph spacing. I would love to have Styles. A table function that really works would be nice. How about offering three editor UIs: Document creation, standard (i.e., the one that is used today), and Markdown. Leverage your cloud: I've always wondered why Evernote didn't go in the direction of Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive. Evernote was the "100 year company" – I would have trusted my photos (30,000 of them) to Evernote. Now I pay Microsoft. That might be too far from your center of gravity but it makes more sense to me than Moleskines. Fire your brand consultants: Recently I read Chris O'Neill's blog article titled "CEO Notebook: Say Hello to a Refreshed Evernote". It read like a long-form Dilbert comic. "Engage with what matters!" "Extend impact!" "Explore What's Possible!" Evernote is a software product. It does stuff. It will not solve world hunger or achieve peace in the Middle East. For my photo editing I recently switched from Adobe Lightroom to Capture One because its features are better. I use Snagit instead of free screen grab utilities because its features are better. I could go through the list of the software I've selected and I suspect in every case I make a choice because of a combination of features, ease of use, visual attractiveness, and price. Microsoft office is the only thing I use because my company requires it. Stick to making the product better. Fire your brand consultants and hire some UI experts. Software quality has to be rock solid: The dictionary thing really got to me. How could a company in business as long as Evernote have such a flaky dictionary? There are other software issues I've encountered over the years. This is table stakes. In conclusion: Please don't let Evernote die. It is a pioneering product that is still very relevant. It has competitors but I think Evernote is still the best. You need to keep it there. You need to keep a clear eye on what you do well and avoid things that are peripheral. I think Adobe's strategy is a good one to watch. They are creating a cloud-centric model with a solid focus on the workflow of creative people and leveraging the power of tablets. Although I personally prefer a competing product, I think from a strategy point of view they are making some excellent moves. What Microsoft is to office apps, Adobe will be to creative apps. Maybe Evernote won't ever be a Microsoft or Adobe, but I think you should aspire to being identified as the King of the Hill in a core area of application usage. Good luck!

I think it's obvious, at this point, that Evernote users want the ability to select the default thumbnail for notes. I agree that it seems ridiculous that this conversation started in 2013 and 4 years later this hasn't been added to the application. As a visual person, the thumbnail helps me quickly find what I'm looking for. For example, when I'm looking for a recipe for pancakes, an image of the video (pertaining to the recipe) of two cooks doesn't help me find what I'm looking for. I need to be able to select the pic of the stack of pancakes. The whole purpose for using Evernote is to be able to organize things so that they are easily found/accessed. I'm confused why this isn't already an option. This seems so simple to implement. Can we get some love on this issue?!

Hopefully many of us have seen the Great Big Brand Refresh Announcement, with its link to the Greater Bigger Details on Medium. First I had to stop yawning, then I had to get my eyes to stop rolling so hard. Evidently the big news is: minor redesign to the elephant; some typography; some other typography. And evidently this is considered vital to Evernote's mission. The Greater Bigger Details go on and on about a "system," but evidently that refers to the "system" involved in the branding itself. What if any changes are planned for Evernote's actual working system--i.e., what they're planning to break without telling us--doesn't seem to be said, although between the yawning and eye-rolling I may have missed it. Now, I know that some of you all here work in marketing, and can explain to me exactly how important this is for Evernote to help me "focus on what matters most" to me (that's the brand slogan motto tagline catchphrase). Kindly don't. Thank you.

I cannot believe that something as basic as the info button got moved to a bloody submenu entry (along with like four or five other button actions). How on earth could anyone ever think that the way to make it "easier to find the actions you use most" involves REMOVING a half-dozen or so super convenient miniature shortcut buttons and moving their actions into entries under an incredibly awkward and inconvenient to use submenu? And why is the share button now an utterly obnoxious color that doesn't even begin to fit in with the rest of the color theme? Please at least give us an option to hide that share button if nothing else, it's extremely distracting, especially now that it's the only remaining actual button in that area...
  20. 15 points
Share appears to have replaced reminders so I now have to dig to create reminders. I've created hundreds of reminders over the years ... I've shared two notes, so easier to find the actions you most use? ... not for me. FWIW.

Why is this a general release? The last half a dozen betas are alphas and general releases were barely betas. This one cannot have all the bugs fixed that have been reported. There is no way. It has been released way too soon, with not enough testing. And many bugs are threat to the users data? Why is this a general release? This is barely 6.11 beta 2, but more likely alpha 2, not a general release. Why has it been released? Why are standards of quality so low? This needs to be tested extensively for at least few months, and all the reported bugs fixed, with no new ones introduced. There is no way you have done that. I would like to speak to a product manager, or someone behind these release choices? Someone who has the authority and is responsible for releasing buggy, unfinished products that make it very likely to lose personal and professional data. Along with many other unwanted product behaviors. (And also someone who will actually answer the phone or forum post, and not some dead end forum thread no one answers.) And where is the known issues list? Because I'm pretty sure you know the issues reported that have not been corrected. I'm almost ready to bet that several upcoming posts here in this thread will show that as they always do. Ever since 6.5.4 release, when all this started. New editor, and rapid release of more bugs. Including changes to layout no one asked for, while bugs remain. Payed user here. I am not upgrading, until you guys actually release a stable, reliable product. Something that I'm paying for but not getting. The price has gone up more than six months ago, and we lost atlas and few other features, got bunch of bugs that seem to multiply with each release. Making it not only annoying but actually unstable to use. Last time I tried, after 6.5.4 version which I'm currently using, I lose precious data. Ever since than I'm reading forums and Its a disaster. All the regular forum users here know it. Once again, why is this a general release and not alpha or beta release, and why is it not being tested more? In order to correct all the bugs and make sure its safe to use.

Hi All, I wanted to reach out to provide some updates regarding the discussion forums. Over the past several months we’ve been working to improve the overall discussion forum experience. The first phase of this ongoing process was to better organize/curate content within the discussion forums. As those of you who have been with us for awhile have most likely observed, we completely overhauled the categories, classifications, and locations of the forum thread topics and updated the cosmetic aesthetic. The intent of these changes was to better classify user posts, and have those posts better organized and curated by type. In turn, this better enables users to find what they’re looking for, and better enables us to hone in on user sentiment as the forum content is now more centrally located. Since that reorganization, we’ve been working to implement the second phase of our forum improvement plan which seeks to provide better support resources, further organize the forum content on a more granular level, and better enable us to collect/analyze user sentiment and feedback. With this in mind, I wanted to provide an idea of what that means for you, and the changes you’ll be seeing. First, we’ve added some limited forum support via our customer support agents. They will continue the work we’ve done to organize newly posted content, assist with user inquiries when able, and help to enforce our Code of Conduct. Second, we’re beginning our work to organize content on a more granular level. This means that we will begin merging similar threads and topics. This will have an especially high impact on feature requests as those are the topics that will most likely be moved, and or merged together. To elaborate, this reorganization may cause some threads to disappear. If they do, this does not mean that the thread’s content is missing, but rather, the content has moved or been merged into a different location. Due to some technical limitations, merging threads does not merge the topic’s vote count. However, be assured that we’ve manually noted all of the vote counts, and have them calculated into the data that we’re relaying to our other teams. By merging individual threads together, and organizing content on a more granular level, we will be able hone in on the user sentiment more accurately and expediently, and help to provide a better overall Evernote experience If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me directly!

The visual aspect of a PDF placed in a note has changed in the latest version (6.8.7.6387) - much for the worse in my opinion! I now see less of the PDF on the screen owing to a charcoal border, and I have to independently scroll the PDF itself instead of the (entire) note. This is even more cumbersome when there is more than one PDF in the note (I typically use 1-page PDFs). There are also buttons that really are not necessary and could have their functionality less obtrusively provided with a right-click context menu. But the worst things of all are that: 1) I can no longer double-click on a PDF in a note to open it (independently) in my PDF reader! In previous versions this has been possible. I do see a button for downloading the PDF and saving it in the file system, but this manoeuvre is way too cumbersome and time-consuming if I just want to read the PDF in the most flexible way possible (e.g. in Adobe Reader). I would also have to be cleaning up the file system all the time. 2) I am unable to remove a PDF from a note! So I have to delete the note, re-create it and add all the PDFs except the one I wished to remove! Please can we turn the clock back. It was fine before but it is broken now.

Hi All, Many of you have asked for templates and we’re thrilled to announce that they’re here! In the past, we’ve offered templates in the form of sample notes that you can copy to a notebook, then duplicate to reuse. While this has been a popular workaround for a long time, we feel templates deserve an easier solution and better home in our product. Now we offer a way to quickly find and apply a template when you create a new note. You can pull from our gallery of 30+ pre-designed templates and save them to your account. In addition, if you subscribe to Plus, Premium, or Business, you can turn any of your existing notes into templates. Your personal template gallery can be accessed from any new note by clicking the Templates button. From there you can find templates on our website, search your saved templates, edit template names, delete templates from your account, and apply templates to a note. You can find more information here: Blog post How-to Videos There’s more to come for templates, so stay tuned. As always, please feel free to start a separate discussion for feedback/suggestions, or feel free to reach out to me directly!

Hi everyone, I lead Evernote's security team. I wanted to make you aware of a recent update to Evernote for Windows versions 6.4–6.7. All Evernote apps connect with our service over HTTPS, which ensures that the data you send between your devices and our service is encrypted. We recently discovered a security vulnerability in older versions of Evernote for Windows that caused affected clients to use HTTP when contacting certain portions of the Evernote Service. This means that if you used one of the vulnerable versions of our Windows client, our software was occasionally sending your authentication token across the Internet using HTTP without first encrypting it. To be clear, your note content, usernames, and passwords were, and continue to be, securely encrypted in transit. Your password is still safe, and you don’t need to change it. To protect customers, we have blocked access from older versions of Evernote for Windows and have done the same for a small number of third party applications. We have also revoked the authentication session tokens for anyone currently running a vulnerable version of our app. If you had previously blocked upgrades beyond version 6.7, we are providing a hotfix that you can download here: https://cdn1.evernote.com/win6/public/Evernote_6.7.6.7584.exe We strongly encourage all customers to update to the latest version of Evernote for Windows. As an additional precaution, you should log out and back in to refresh your authentication token. We have already notified customers that were affected by this directly via email.

How about not releasing them to the GA and letting your beta testers beat up on it? Every beta thread has a ton of issues brought up but as many bugs make it through as get fixed. For some reason Evernote seems intent on pushing out releases just to have an update to announce regardless of quality. No one would give a flip if you worked for 3 months to release a STABLE release with NO NEW FEATURES AT ALL, just fixes. In fact, most of us would praise such a move.

They clearly spent a lot of time on the rebranding. I hope that doesn't mean that rebranding matters the most to them. As opposed to, say, fixing all of the little things that have been bugging us users for years.

I don't understand why after almost 10 years this has not been implemented yet. Also, I don't understand why workarounds such as tags are considered a good solution. Is it that complicated to add more hierarchy levels to the structure?

This is a very, very, long-standing HTML feature, and oh so very useful for long notes. Two features I see essential for long (more than one page/screen) notes: Anchors/bookmarks Collapsible sections Both have been available in web pages since the early days of the web (late 1990's). ATTN: Evernote/ @Jackolicious, @SoftwareMarcus, @Justin Street: Come on, this is the very definition of productivity!

Hey, I would like to make a feature request for evernote to implement a text collapse, as seen in coding software such as Dreamweaver. The idea is to make it a little bit easier to organise long lists. Simply mark the desired text, collapse it and then you're able to toggle on and off and eventually remove the collapse when you don't need it anymore. Here's a picture I found: http://www.creativepro.com/files/story_images/20050926_expand.jpg It's a really simple feature, but it would make my Evernote life easier! Philip A

I agree. @Evernote: May I suggest that you thoroughly test and get user feedback on changes to long-established UI BEFORE you publish a GA release? Just because some new kid on the Dev Team thinks it is a good idea because it follows some esoteric UI guidelines, does NOT make it so. IMO, you should NEVER change well-established UI without very good cause to do so, and without thorough end-user testing. SW development 101.

New computer, Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.16299 Build 16299 EN Version 6.9.7.6770 (306770) Public (CE Build ce-1.39.4387) Synopsis: The cursor will be present in the Note, and then vanishes when you start typing. If you use up/down arrow keys to move the cursor, the whole note scrolls up/down. It's most frustrating because in using Evernote, I'm constantly copying text / referencing other documents from other places and pasting / typing into EN. <Alt-Tab elsewhere> Select / Copy <Alt-Tab to EN> see the cursor blinking at me where I left it, <Ctrl-Shift-V Paste>, cursor goes away, no paste. (Note, I wish Paste-Match-Style [aka paste as plain text] could be configured as default) -or- <Alt-Tab to EN> see the cursor, start typing, cursor goes away, no typing happens. -or- <Alt-Tab to EN> see cursor, click mouse to re-position cursor, see cursor in new place, start typing/pasting, cursor goes away, no typing/pasting happens. In all cases, the Note itself still has focus because Up/Down arrows scroll the Note. It's just decided to stop being in edit mode. I typically work with Notes in the main EN window, not floating by themselves, but it also happens when they are by themselves (undocked). Does not happen 100% of time, but is 100% annoying when it does, about 80+% of the time. This happened in the previous version as well and was such an annoying issue I thought it would be fixed pronto, so I didn't comment on it.

Sorry, Evernote, but really? Much ado about nothing. ? Sure, everybody likes a new coat of paint, a new color, even a new veneer. But it is very disappointing if you go inside and it is the same old broken furniture. The time for fanfare and celebration is when you have really new app that works with very, very few bugs, and maybe, just maybe, you have implemented a few of the long time often requested features. Then bring out the paint brushes and champagne.

Hi Nick, Can we get any information on the status for the PDF viewer in Evernote? Everyone hates it. Features were removed, including drag and drop, and people have been expressing disdain and regret over this for months in the forum. Can we get an answer from someone at Evernote that we're even being heard? Will we get that functionality back? Can we opt-out of the Chrome PDF viewer you've decided to use? I have personally chosen to stop using Evernote and move to a different product because of this. Not just the complete breaking of a useful feature of your product, but because of Evernote staff's lack of response in addressing our concerns. I have lost faith in the company, in addition to the product. A direct answer from staff, for once, would make a big difference. Thank you.

I concur - please get this "Remark" field re-instated and fixed and make doing so a PRIORITY. Also, the screen capture is not working as it used to - completely weird interface - it is not allowing partial capture as well as full screen captures in Chrome. I use this feature multiple times per day and need it to work as it did. This "upgrade" is not desirable - I hope Evernote you are watching and listening to your paid customers - this is not viewed as an "upgrade" by us.

Hi All, I wanted to take some time to announce some changes you’ll be seeing in the discussion forums that we hope will help to improve your experience! First, we will be enabling a feature called Best Answer that will enable the person that starts a thread to mark a specific reply/comment as the ‘Best Answer’. This will then mark the thread as ‘answered’, and enable other users to quickly see that the question has been answered. To mark a reply as a Best Answer simply click on the 'check mark' icon in upper left hand corner of the post you're marking: When marked with a Best Answer, the thread will look like this: Then, you can see the 'Best Answer' clearly marked in list of forum posts: Our hope is that the Best Answer feature will better enable users who are asking questions to get the information they’re looking for, while also enabling users that have similar questions to find that same information more easily. Secondly, we’ve received a lot of feedback on the similarities between the FAQ’s and Best Practices sections. As there is a lot of overlap between the two, we’ll be merging the FAQ’s and Best Practices into a single forum under the banner FAQ's: Best Answers Moving forward, the FAQ's: Best Answers section of the forums will become a repository for the Best Answers we see in the other parts of the forums. Essentially, think of the FAQ's: Best Answers sections as a sort of best answers hall of fame.

You made simply deleting a note a two action process by hiding it under the (“…”)!! This is the worst idea ever... I obviously am deleting notes all the time to clean up... and now you are doubling my time for this most basic function??? I am soo annoyed right now.. and i've been a paid user for almost 10 years... seriously put the delete note icon back on the note! This is an unacceptable change!

I have been a premium Evernote user for five years. Loved this app. Web Clipper is not working anymore, particularly, the picture copy tool is what I use a lot. I contacted support a couple days ago, after months of not working correctly. they said, oh yeah, that is an issue. Staff is working on it. I mentioned to Geoff that it has not been working for months. I understand when google updates chrome, then Evernote has to update and this may be the issue. Yet, every other App I use manages to deal with updates. Evernote is now 10 different apps in one, perhaps that is five too many. After a few texts back and forth with tech support, I asked if he had any solution or was their another App that clips photos I could use until Evernote Web Clipper was working again. He said no, and I said asked nicely, Why am I paying Premium when I have got no cost Basic service for the last 6 months. His response was he could send the link to cancel my subscription. I thought that response cold. I said goodbye to Geoff. If that is Evernote's solution to a long time customer, it means I am trusting over 3000 notes, files to a company who could care less about me or my money. Please post if anyone knows a way transition my data out of Evernote? Or better yet, Evernote CEO, COO, CFO, please get back to the basics of what was a great tool for me to use. I will be glad to spend the money you charge. Greg

I am not upgrading any Evernote product, be it Windows client, Web clipper or Android client. Reason is simple: Each upgrade creates more issues than previous one, there are no improvements here, it is regression, stress and frustration. Evernote's focus is totally wrong, they should begin with bug fixing.
