  2. I think we should be able to have notes in our stacks not just notebooks. Thanks and keep up the good work!

  3. Hello Gazumped...I too have noticed the loss of the EN YouTube Clipper feature/function. Im using Chrome browser on PC win10, and have the latest Chrome version 60.0.3112.113 (Official Build) (64-bit). What's happened to clipping YouTube videos to EN? Do I need to do something different in order to get this feature reenabled? Cheers Rick

  5. Here is a good way, at least on my machine, to render Evernote useless for editing. Create new note Type a few things in a list. Add a PDF to the bottom of the file. 4-5 pages should be fine. I snipped these from a non-DRM protected ebook I own. Go back to top and keep adding notes. At this point, step 4 becomes brutally slow with stops, stutters, pauses. I have my auto-save set to 180 seconds, but I am not getting much more than 10-15 seconds of good typing time before the UI freezes for a few seconds. I can either remove the PDF, or edit the thing on my phone or on the web, but not on my desktop version. It isn't my PC either. Surface Pro 4, i5, SSD, 16GB of RAM.

  6. It might be debated whether what is shown below is "sketching," but I did it with my touchpad using an Evernote ink note: File > New Note > New Ink Note. I don't have a touchscreen computer, so I don't know what the possibilities might be for that. There are various tools to choose from, but it does not seem to be possible to change the background.

  7. Thanks- OK in fact i've just noticed going back even the notes created when I was using windows are now corrupt when viewing using windows. So maybe the editor is the issue. I think the first time i noticed it was when i made changes on a note using mac thought.

  8. The web version doesn't count as a device, so you can use on a mobile device, a desktop version, and as many browsers as you like.

  9. What you guys could do is to use the application on android or iOS devices and use the web version for PC and Mac. Thereby, you could easily run Evernote on 4 to 5 devices.

  10. Bug Report: Constant Sync Activity I noticed the sync icon spinning all the time. I had sync set at 5 minutes, so I changed it to Manual Syncing is still happening. I can confirm this by having a web window open at a note Also the activity log shows something ongoing 2017/08/29 12:21:22:019 V| 20039 -[ENThriftLogger tHTTPStatsNofiticaion:] | https://www.evernote.com/shard/s10/notestore getSyncState 200 135 139 0.03800702095031738 2017/08/29 12:21:27:092 V| 20041 -[ENThriftLogger tHTTPStatsNofiticaion:] | https://www.evernote.com/shard/s10/notestore getSyncState 200 135 139 0.049407958984375 2017/08/29 12:21:32:169 V| 20042 -[ENThriftLogger tHTTPStatsNofiticaion:] | https://www.evernote.com/shard/s10/notestore getSyncState 200 135 139 0.05400604009628296

  11. This behavior has happened a couple of times this morning ... When I click on a note, I don't immediately see the note. Instead, I see the spinning gear icon. It has been spinning now on one note for over 60 seconds. (The sync icon is not spinning, so I don't know if this is related to synching or not.) I can still get to preferences, so the program is not locked up. If I attempt to quit, EN becomes non-responsive. I have to force quit it. If I restart the program, then I can see my notes.

  12. It might if that is the note causing the issue.

  13. There is an option on the iPhone to save as a document but it does not seem to do anything differently. If you are truly scanning documents you could use Scannable. Workaround could be to drag the jpg into a blank PDF document and save that. Yuck, but it would work. If Windows go to Tools - Options - Note and check Allow images displayed as attachments.

  14. I gave up and now just copy URLs I want to save to a Chrome window. Annoying at first, but I got used to it fast. I also use the Chrome window for scrolling captures, since FF multiprocess and Snag-It are not compatible. At this point, I'm not going to reinstall the FF Webclipper until someone says it's working right. Looking forward to Firefox 57 in mid-November, and hoping they caught up to Chrome in terms of speed...

  15. Hi. "Smart" filing (allegedly) gets better the more you use it. On the other hand manually directing all the clips to an 'Inbox' gives you the chance to direct where they go. A fuller explanation of what's going wrong for you and how it could be improved may help the devs actually address your frustrations...

  16. I feel on the biggest missing features is native support for Markdown. Please add native Markdown to Evernote.

  17. Hi @MarcusC, welcome to the Forums! You should be able to enable the Code Block feature in the application's Preferences: Open Evernote for Mac From the menu bar, select Evernote > Preferences > Software Update Check the "Enable Code Block" box EDIT: If you are using the version of Evernote downloaded from the Mac App Store, you will need to reinstall to the version of the application downloaded from our website to access the Software Update tab. I hope that helps!
