OS 10.11.3 | Safari 9.0.3 | Clipper 6.7.1 For at least the past year, I've had continuous, daily issues with the Safari Clipper desktop extension crashing. Using various un-replicable permutations of un-instail/re-install/restart Safari/cold shutdowns/etc. I could often get Clipper to work temporariy but all is lost after shutdown and, on reboot, I'm invariably faced with a dead elephant in the menu bar. Lately, I can't even get Ciipper up for a session--just an endless hang of the Evernote spinning dot, delay icon. In reviewing this forum, I see this Safari-related issue has been pervasive, longstanding and, based on lack of correction, largely ignored. The latest statement from EN in this forum was a 2/11/16 "we're aware and working on it" response. Five weeks later, NADA! One would think a basic functionality issue like this would receive the highest priority. This dead elephant is beginning to stink! Web clipper, when working, is a wonderful, time saving tool. From my perspective it accounts for 80% of my use of EN. If you share this problem, please join me by sending in a BUG report ticket as previously suggested by Forum Guru, JMichaelTX: "I recommend that everyone who experiences a bug to submit a bug report. This will make sure that Evernote is aware of the issue, provide your environment data to help identify/fix the issue, and put more pressure on Evernote to fix. Submit a BUG report via an EN Support Ticket. In the Support Form, select "Report a bug", and start the Ticket Title with "BUG: " to make it clear. Reporting a bug should be available to all users, including Free Account owners. Since Evernote now is providing official support to all users via Twitter, you might post your issue on Twitter @evernotehelps. It might also be good to include a link back to your post on the forum." Yours for a functioning Web Clipper!

Have you tried clearing cache and/or rebooting your device? Any chance you added a new extension and it and Clipper are fighting? I just tested with Win 10/Chrome 49.0.2623.87 /EN Web Clipper 6.7.1 and it worked fine. If the above doesn't work could be time for a support ticket.

Here are 2 half-decent workarounds I've tinkered with that you can use via Chrome extensions on the Web Client: AlterNote: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/alternote-editor/hljkfahiahjhhpmpihngnommookkneji?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon Add-ons for Evernote Web App: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/add-ons-for-evernote-web/bnflfnhcfikgmmcmoghhejelmefpjhek?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon Both extensions have other features which extend Evernote's editor... such as list sorting, etc... which might be worth looking into :-)

Hmm. This topic is titled "The Evernote Editor", and is about Evernote's effort to improve the Editor on all platforms: So, I can't imagine why you are posting here, since you " really don't care at all about editing on Evernote", I suppose you would be since you never use Evernote to write anything, to edit anything, to create content. I do hope you realize that Evernote is used by a wide variety of people for a wide variety of tasks, including writing on many levels. I think that there are many, many users (including myself) who need and expect Evernote to be a good rich text editor, but don't expect it to be word processor. You seem to have some issues with Evernote search. Perhaps you would be better served by starting a new topic that is focused on your issues.

How to resize images Evernote for Mac and Windows Desktop Tap an image inside a note until you see a blue border around it. If you see a blue circular handle at the bottom-right corner of the border, the image can be resized. Select the circular handle and drag towards or away from center of the image to resize it. Images can only be as large as their original size or the width of the note, whichever is larger.

Hello all, I definitely see where you are coming from on this. While it is not currently supported in the mobile applications, I would like to recommend up voting this feature to increase the likelihood of this getting added. In the meantime I will see what I can find out.

The Idea is to add recurring reminders, for instance after setting reminder there should be an option to repeat: Daily Weekly Monthly Yearly I think it will be useful and add value to the users.

"Recent Notebooks" section clutters the sidebar too much. I would like to remove this, because I know where my Notes are. Please, Evernote, make it possible to remove this.
