  1. Here's what I think is the easiest way: Open the Note you want to copy. - - - In the lower right hand corner on an iPhone (upper right hand corner on an iPad) are 3 dots.Click on them. - - - A menu of options will pop up.Click on "Duplicate". - - - A copy of the Note will be created and it becomes the "active" Note.Assign the Note is to your desired Notebook.

  2. Thanks all, those are points worth discussing about. I take note that some are worried it would be too easy to mistakenly edit a note with "tap to edit". The edit button was a way to avoid this. Suggested options are: - add back an edit button - add an option to activate or not tap to edit We'll look at that. About the links I'll need your help on this one. Here are the steps I tried: create a new note, paste a URL, tap on the link > the web page opens save this note, open again, tap on the link > the web page opens too Could you maybe describe your problem the same way so I understand it?

  3. Evernote is not "multi-user" safe. It is possible to edit the same note on two devices or on two browser windows at the same time but the result is that when a sync happens and the server identifies conflicting contents of the same note it is duplicated. A solution would be to introduce a locking mechanism that ensures that only one client/browser window is able to edit a note or a transaction mechanism like the ones used for databases. Until such a solution is implemented you need some self-discipline. At least you don't lose content. In case a duplicate note is created you have to carefully inspect which one contains the content you need or you might event try to combine the content.

  6. I would VERY MUCH like to see a native iOS Classic Link function included in the iOS app. It wouldn't be difficult for Evernote to include in a future release. The coding isn't difficult to change a Web Link to a Classic Link.
