  3. Is there any hope of getting the ability to change font/test sizes/colors on iOS? There were people in 2012 pointing out that this feature was lacking and here we are in 2015 and we still don't have it. This is a pretty core need and it really surprises me that EN does not support it, given that it is supported on web and desktop.

  4. I love the fact that I can clip email from the Gmail-in-browser. I think this capability would be enhanced if I could highlight portions of the email before it is saved, similar to clipping a simplified article from a web page. jay

  5. Hey, We are preparing the release of Saferoom Android, and I hope it will happen this or next week, depending on how fast Google Play will review the app. Therefore, we have closed sign-up for Beta. Thank you very much for participation, we really hope that you were not disappointed. Moreover, along with Saferoom Beta we are preparing a new feature in Saferoom iOS (supported in Android also) - starting from Saferoom iOS v1.7 you will be able to use 1Password to handle encryption and decryption. Here is a small demo how it will look like: Decrypting Evernote notes with 1Password extensio

  8. Currently in the iOS app you need to do this one line at a time or start your list with the checkboxes and add to it. If you make a change you don't want, shake to expose the undo/redo actions. Cheers, Chuck

  12. I am also sad that Food has been removed, it was indeed a great app. Simply to remember those great locations and meals we had as we travelled. Some of you techie folks out there, must be able to create an add in for Evernote? Better that, than having yet another app on my phone, and computers. I wonder if the problem here is that Evernote, didn't ask it's customers if they wanted Food? If they did, I for one would love to see the results of that survey. If the percentages where low, then I guess there is nothing which can be done. At the end of the day it is all about numbers. Regards

  14. Guys... I found something I quite like. http://www.myfoodcircle.co.uk/ I have installed it on my Android phone. So far, I cannot backdate entries (not that I want to enter two years' worth of Evernote Food entries) and it doesn't remember locations, but it's looking good. I have sent my quibbles to the developer and asked them to look at Evernote Food, as they are so close! I also find the interface at the bottom of the screen very intrusive, but for food journaling I can take a picture, add a caption, add a place. Yeah, it's got that weight loss and calorie counting stuff I don't want, but

  15. I would love for you all to check out spoonacular - we don't (yet) have a restaurant component and our apps are currently in redevelopment, so it's admittedly not a perfect replacement at our current stage. However, the new apps will be out before Evernote Food ceases to function, and restaurant data will be added later this year to complete our trifecta (recipes, store bought products, and restaurants). We're always interested in user feedback and are happy to adapt our platform to add missing features, and I suspect we'll be faster than anything crowdfunded now For anyone interested

  16. If you are retiring the app, can you open source it? At least someone then could keep it up to date with ios/android OS's and the latest evernote api's.

  17. Aw man, that's a bummer, but I can tell from the lack of updates that it must not have been getting the usage you guys envisioned for it. I guess you have to go where your users are. One crucial question though: any meal notes that were created with the app are Locked for editing in Evernote proper. Will those notes now become editable now that all Evernote Food data is being migrated to Evernote? If not, I suggest your dev team start working on that stat—I'll be really pissed if my meal notes suddenly become static, un-editable documents!

  18. Hi all, Evernote is brilliant - could not navigate life without it!! A feature that I feel is dearly needed and would be tremendous to have is the ability to create an anchor point in notes. eg if I am working on a lengthy note and constantly referring to other notes at the same time I want the ability to specify a point where I am working in that note so I can go straight back to it. Also, when you open a note it goes straight to the start of the note. You always have to scroll down to the bottom of the note to add to it. Many thanks
