  1. I'm not sure (I'm just being polite, I'm really very sure) that Evernote doesn't have to justify its business decisions. You could always upgrade to a proper OS (Runs away grinning like a proper troll)

  2. Hi! Welcome to the forums. Let's keep this space family-friendly and refrain from profanity. Besides, your point is better made without it. What you are asking for is a new rationale, and I think it is fair to ask. I am afraid we (other users) can't help out here, though. All we know is what we have heard from Evernote staff on the forums. If you want an official answer to your query, I strongly suggest contacting customer support.

  3. Where has anyone "demonized" anyone who wants a linux client? How does such inflammatory rhetoric help? As Jeff and others have pointed out. Evernote has given their reasons. I understand that you neither like nor agree with those reasons. And there is certainly nothing wrong with continuing to ask. However, Evernote has shown little inclination to revisit the issue or provide additional public comment. Best of luck.

  4. In Evernote, go to Tools | Options | General, and see where your Evernote database is currently stored. Then, in Windows File Explorer, select that folder, and right click and choose Properties to see how much space it's taking up. In Truecrypt, create an encrypted drive larger than that (I'd suggest at least twice as big, to allow for growth). Mount the drive in Truecrypt, and then go back to Evernote's Tools | Options | General and tell Evernote you want to move your data to your encrypted drive.   5. Please bring the shortcut toolbar back to the top.... I used it to place important notebooks and changed them when required. When using the shortcuts on the left hand side it makes my list so long, takes me forever to find the tags, cvt
