  2. I've not had this happen myself and not heard of anyone else mentioning it. When you did a reinstall did you do a complete uninstall using something like Revo uninstaller first? Sometimes config files can get left behind.

  4. Approximately once a minute Evernote runs an external Windows application that grabs the focus and thus makes working on the computer impossible. Technical Diagnosis ================ The most recent update for Evernote is making a call to the WMI which in turn is running wmic_copy.exe as a foreground task. This is running approximately once per minute and when it runs it grabs the focus away from any other app, making it very difficult to carry out any other work. An Evernote reinstall makes no difference. I submitted this as an urgent issue to Evernote support 3 days ago, but other than the useless automated response, I've had no human reply.

  6. I updated to 10.82.0 recently and interestingly, the “new” homepage has been removed from my iPad. It is still there on my the iPhone, which makes some sense due to the smaller screen on the phone.
  7. I got such poor support over an issue a couple of weeks ago that I contacted the product manager directly and oddly the support was suddenly supplied to the level I'd expect. Shouldn't have to be this way.

  10. Thanks for your response, the app itself is far too dark, everything else on my device is fine so I'm not inclined to increase the contrast for mere usage of Evernote. I will send them a message.

  13. Same issue. Missing required oauth parameter "oauth_token" Gmail, Arc, Chrome and iOs. Seems to me this feature isn't currently supported.
  14. Update: I'm on a Win10 maschine now - and it works fine. In the afternoon I'll re-check it on Win11 (on which I encountered the fail)
  15. BTW, the issue seems to pop up if one un-collapses a section, reads the stuff and collapses it again. Could someone confirm this one, too?
  16. Given that this thread is 2 years old I doubt the same problems still exist. Please give us full details of your device / OS / Evernote version and what you're experiencing, and let's start over...
  17. I agree with @gazumped that some more information would be useful but given that you are using the web version I would try deleting all the site data in your browser. In Chrome this is done by going to the Evernote web version and clicking the "View site information" icon to the left of the url 🢂 Cookies and site data 🢂 manage on device site data 🢂 and then delete the data using the trash can icons. When you go to the site again and login, Evernote will have to download the "app" and data so it should solve any corruption issues.
  18. Yes I am getting the same exact error and can't figure out how to deal with it. The desktop version on my mac has become completely unusable. Quitting, restarting and reinstalling don't do anything. I'm at the point where I may consider switching to another software because this is cramping my workflow. BTW - I have a MAC, not a PC... this must be a universal Evernote problem.

  20. Hi. We're mainly other users here, so no great insight into payment issues - however I suggest you contact Itunes to see if they can help. If you can't change payment methods there, then stop paying and allow your subscription to lapse. Your account will become 'Basic' with limited access - but you can then immediately upgrade again via iTunes or direct with Evernote with whatever payment method you wish.
  21. Because there are millions of users (still) and a simultaneous download - even over 24 hours - would crash the site. Updates are released to groups of users over weeks. Anyone can go to Evernote.com and individually download the latest version if they wish.
  22. Hi. Since v10 has to set up a new local management system on your device and download your entire database it can seem slow at first. Plus in the past year v10 has a new data structure to optimize automatic syncing. Notes originally created in Legacy take a few seconds to update to the new structure when they're loaded for the first time. If you leave Evernote active for some while (possibly some hours) after updating it will catch up. If it's still slow after that, there's probably something wrong with the installation. Mine works effectively on a 10-year-old laptop. It's not advisable to downgrade your app, but there is already a newer version - maybe download 10.83 from Evernote.com and try again?
