  3. As a simple user, I tried to take a closer look at this local hyperlink issue that is annoying me since January. The way accents in local path names are encoded when processed with CTRL+K in Evernote seems indeed to have changed. What I see however (or furthermore) is that the way SPACES of local path names are encoded when processed with CTRL+K, has changed, too since version 6.17 (or even 6.16). Example : regular file path "S:\AAA Ever Note.doc" >>>> old encoding: "file:///S:/AAA%20Ever%20Note.doc." (space = %20) >>>> new encoding: "file:///S:/AAA%2520Ever%2520Note.doc." (space = %2520) Perhaps like some of you, I am working with thousands (!) of EN-hyperlinks to local files and folders. Changing them one by one would not only be a wearing and tedious thing, but above all, one doesn't know if new changes ot this kind will be coming soon. I've reported the issue in January 2019 and now communicated the above mentioned surely trivial "finding" to EN support, seeking for advice in general terms, and more specifically asking... - if older versions of EN (like 6.15 I'm still using) will stay functional and supported (also from a security point of view) for some time?, - if there is a way or a workaround to bulk change ALL the hyperlinks in EN at once.... ......questions that I'm humbly submitting likewise to you, dear Companions of Misfortune, begging pardon for amateurish language, reduandancy or even out-of-topicism.^^^
  4. ... not Evernote, but the OFFLINE NOTEBOOKS I'd like to use. I don't know the problem, because currently I installed DropSync, for example, and a notification popup said, that the user needs to give authority to write on the SD-Card; and as soon as you click to allow that, writing on SD-card is possible (Android 9). So IT IS possible in general - and I have NOT a rooted device, just saying ...
  5. Was this export a single HTML file, or a separate file for each note I agree, Mac/Windows exporter difference I also notice a serious lack of metadata in the Windows export file compared to the Mac export
  6. No, very unlikely it's a premium feature. May very well be a difference between the Windows HTML export and that of the Mac application. Edit: I verified that the Windows HTML exporter doesn't add the note's URL to the HTML's <header> section.
  7. Good catch, we should have said "Undo" instead of command Z. So it is the Undo equivalent. Sorry for the confusion.
  8. I got hosed on the last IOS 13 beta. Waiting for the general release of 13, and only then after some brave soul jumps in the pool first. Downgrading an IOS version has not been a pleasant experience for me.
  9. I think the point is to edit the template in place as opposed to copy, edit, add, delete the old one.
  10. Just a quick note to say, thanks for the videos and I have a quick question... I notice today that Chris said to use Cmd Z to switch over to the HTML version, which is a MAC command... Is it safe to assume that the same action in Windows will be Alt whatever the Cmd is on MAC... In this case Alt Z? John Bankson
  11. Maybe it's a Premium feature? I'm not seeing it. This screenshot is of the exported note that you see with the link in my previous reply.
  12. Thank you for your suggestion. Eventually I tried uninstalling the App, it worked again, I can sign in again. Evernote support staff eagerly help me to find the way to get it fixed, but uninstalling the App seemed to be the best way for me, even I had to accept some notes which was not synced up yet lost.
  13. Hmm, not sure about number of words, but I notice little to no slowdown in notes from 3 to 28 megabytes, with graphics &, tables, even PDF notes get only somewhat slower. But I have a number of notes copied from the internet, 1 megabyte or less in size, but they are copies of heavily formatted pages, one of them is from a Facebook page. Those notes are very slow to display. In general, I find information I copy from the web with formatting preserved, may go from slightly slower to very slow, so I usually strip things up when I can, unless the formatting is important. It may also happen if the note has errors, in such cases I rebuild the note, just in case.

  15. I guess I'll have to figure out the official support and submit the issues. My laptop just went 'red hot' because I failed to click into a text only note. It's not EVERY clipped page, but lots of them do it, and it's almost instantaneous. The task manager power use goes from low to very high over about 15 seconds!
  16. Please make sure to send feedback in the beta feedback app. This way Evernote knows about it and Apple makes it a priority to fix it, if it’s on their end.
  17. I noted the Web Beta isn't a part of the "Evernote Betas" section of the forum. When will that be added?
  18. Maybe a bad example; I clipped the note from an Evernote site.
  19. It is simple: Do not beta on any device you need, for work, for the data, for anything serious. If you decide to use a beta for anything serious, nothing is awful but your own decision to install.
  20. That's the link to the note in Evernote. I was thinking of the link to the original webpage, the one where I saved the note from.
  21. I've included two samples of a webpage URL when exporting a note in html and enex format
  22. Saw your message after I upgraded. I’m boned on my iPad and iPhone. This is just awful...
  23. I’d hold off updating the iPadOS beta builds from yesterday and today. Evernote notes aren’t rendering at all with offline or online notes.
  24. It would be nice if there was a way to include the original webpage URL when exporting a note. Or, if it was edited, then the edited link. Maybe include it at the top of the note. The way it is now, I lose the information about where the note came from.
