ah, thanks for confirming. So far I only have a blank screen when I hit 'files'.

Since I've experienced some 'untitled attachments' recently I hope files - once it works - will let you search for attachment names. Thus I could determine whether the 'untitled attachments' are a real problem or only a handful of notes that are affected. That indeed would be handy.

Bingo. First 20 "elements" are from a note that includes a Web clip and 1 attached file. The attachment is there. The other 19 are the usual sort of logos, stock photos, etc., you find on every Website. There are also svg_1 through svg_8, which display no preview or other information. There's a search feature, but it only searches filenames, not within OCRed attachments. Suggestion: Ask the person who developed this feature to take the person who decided to color internal links blue out for lunch. Then lock the building.

As you can see by the attached screenshot though, they're not sorted alphabetically, and I would like to put 'certain ones' at the top even though not alphabetically in that order, and I don't want to rename them as they've been that way for many years. In legacy, I could pin specific tags to the desktop but I'm not sure how to do that now.

Just got this feature, but all I get is a blank screen when I click on Files. I've left it there 5+ minutes at a time in case it's just slow to load. I'll test again once I update to 10.85.x.

I hate this as well and it has been like this for as long as I can remember. Open a support ticket or send feedback to feedback@evernote.com. If enough of us complain maybe it will get changed.

Yes, as also mentioned above. Please note that it may take a while to completely download your database. It should be useable right away but it will run slowly until everything is downloaded and stabilized.

Tags are in general sorted alphabetically. You can try to put a „period“ ( .myimportanttag ) at the beginning to make a tag appear on top.

Is the insert menu supposed to pop-up anytime you type a '/' or just when you type a '/' at the beginning of a new line? The latter wouldn't be so awful and a few messages I've seen hear seem to suggest that that's how it's supposed to work. But it isn't that clear. In my case, I get the popup menu every time I type a slash, no matter where it is. This means every time I want a slash I have to type a slash + space + backspace or 2 slashes followed by backspace. Typing dates and file paths have become lots of fun... Is it supposed to be this way or there something wrong with my setup? Thanks

Can't figure out how in the world I'm supposed to put certain tags that I want at the very top, as I used to be able to put a set of tags on the home screen, but I can't figure out even how to do that... There doesn't seem to be any order to the ones that I have circled on this screenshot... Maybe there's a way but I'm not sure how to change the order...

It should have synced until the cut-off of pre-V10 versions on March 28th or so. Try the browser version of Evernote.com, it will show you what has synced to the server. If you are missing notes there, follow PE's advice (and DO NOT LOG OUT OF YOUR LOCAL CLIENT!). Good luck.

Can't drag'n'drop attachments into a note. The dropped attachment simply disappears, although before the drop either the line indicating where the drop would take place or (in an empty note) the '+' sign appears, thus Evernote is aware of the intended drop. Hate to say but that worked in Legacy without issue. Adding via cut/copy and paste seems to work. Latest Sonoma/ 10.84.3 mac Ticket #3873669

It is doing the same for me. However, if I don't change any formatting and just compose the note with default settings it does appear to keep the blank lines.

In Typography, the spacing between lines of text is called leading. I too recently noticed an increase in the leading, and I don't like it. I want it back the way it was, or better yet, let me set the leading how I want it. Here's what I'm seeing now, too much leading:

I work with the Notes panel (which shows the title and a short preview of each note) open at all times. Recently (not sure exactly when it started happening), whenever I click on one of the Shortcuts pinned to the left-most panel, the Notes panel collapses or disappears and I must re-select "Notes" (below the "recent notes" section) to bring it back. The correct behavior when selecting a note for which there is a pinned shortcut would be for the Notes panel to remain open and to move the "highlighted" or "active" note preview to the note that I followed a shortcut to.

Well, V10 was released in October 2020, so it's not all that new and fresh anymore...

You could ask … For scanning you could use an Import Folder … That‘s what works.

I am soo pissed! every scan I do comes up untitled attachment. I emailed and was told to be patient. After taking papers out of my trash to try again same issue. So then I took pics with my phone - they show up when I access through my phone but not on my desktop (again untitled attachment). Any suggestions for an alternative to Evernote? sadly I have used this for years but I sure need something that is dependable and is not so time-consuming (picking through my garbage can was so fun).
