  2. Working in Android 14 on my Pixel 7 - I can insert a horizontal line (divider) either using the blue INSERT button and then selecting DIVIDER or with three hyphens or three equal signs followed by space, but the line is so faint, I can barely see it. It was much bolder in the old Android app and also was far more convenient to select from the icon bar - a single click rather than having to select the INSERT button, then the DIVIDER button or even the shortcuts. Why were things like the highlighter icon, the horizontal line icon and the bulleted list default icon removed from the icon bar? I realize there are now more choices, like highlighter color or type of list, but there should be a way to select a default option and not have to click multiple times. Perhaps there are default options in the Windows client? I create the majority of my notes on my phone.
  3. Drag-n-dropping attachment to the note doesn't work when you try to attach files from some external device connected to PC (like Android phone/tablet). EN just keeps spamming "Something went wrong. Try later" popup. This never worked in v10 as far as I remember (never had any problems with attachments in v6).
  4. So a screen shot in a different thread gave me a workaround. If you collapse the sidebar you loose the email address. I have fed back to EN that I think there should at least be an option to hide the email address - don't want to upset the (presumably) tiny number of users with multiple accounts which all have the same user name!
  5. This one is excruciating for me, too. It's not that the old search term should be deleted, it's that the old search term should be highlighted. Want to repeat the search? Just hit enter. Want to delete the search and replace it with a new search term? Just start typing and your keystrokes replace the previously highlighted search term. This is how it works in Spotlight, Finder, Safari, Notes, Chrome, Firefox, Pages, Numbers, Word, Excel, and on and on and on. Just about every application respects this convention except Evernote v10. It's such a small change but irritatingly inconsistent with other applications and it would be so easy to fix.

  7. Thank you. I don't see that arrow however I see the vertical box icon 4 down from the top expands it. I still prefer the 'old' look. What versions are these please?
  8. Same thing just happened to me. Used the web clipper to save a PDF, and it seemed to save fine and is viewable in the note, but can't be opened because it has a slew of nonsense characters appended to it beyond the "pdf" extension. Same on the web so it's not just a desktop client issue. The weird thing is the Evernote client can see the file just fine (it renders multi-page previews, etc.) but for some reason the file name is broken and the rename file function doesn't fix it. Tried this and thought it would be a useful trick, except the file re-imported with the exact same nonsense characters appended after the pdf extension! Very strange. I should report to support, but I'm getting a little tired of repeatedly reporting bugs and having very few of them actually resolved.
  9. Jun 様 お返事遅くなり申し訳ありません。 macユーザーですが、web版を使うことにいたします。 できれば直してもらいたいものです。 有益な情報をありがとうございました。
  10. If you hover over the bottom of the sidebar in your desktop app you should see an option to expamd the sidebar That is the only difference between the two.
  11. Hi, I used to used the standalone first version of EV I think it'd now called Legacy, but I am now using 10.85 178.0.6 1.102.1 on a Win 10 x64 PC. I looked at the new notification video about the new upgrades and it talks about the Desktop version which dies not look like the version above I use. I looked at EV online and up popped a version that looks like the old initial version I used which has tge layout I prefer to use. The main thing I don't particularly like in my current version is the left side where it only has icons in thin column 1 whereas the one online has the Notebooks named in col 1, then the Notes in 2 then the Note. What version is what please? Thank you oz
  12. Does the slash command to create a Table of Contents in a single note work for all Evernote plans?
  13. It's reassuring knowing it's not just me. I did try logging out and restarting the app with no luck. I also use Evernote on my work PC and the Files look fine there. It's only on my M1 Mac. So...as an experiment I went to the Mac App Store and downloaded Evernote from there. I was running the direct download version. I assumed it would just create a duplicate app, but it didn't. It essentially replaced my existing version of the app. And now it works fine! You might want to try that Stuhrer if you're also running the direct download version. This is what I'm running now:
  14. My experience with Evernote as a paid user goes back over 12 years. The main reason that made me become a client was the screenshot quick note feature, in IOS (at least) that mean that with a combination of keys, I could capture a selection of the screen, and visual notes will be listed under the same quicknote (as a draft) and accessible through the bar on top. Images there will still be transferable and usable across multiple options (drag into an email, drag to desktop to save as a screenshot, etc). This feature stopped working a couple years ago, and I did not get a solution from the evernote management, but some helpful user showed me the way to Evernote Legacy. I have been using it until the end of March where mysteriously everything started failing. Why did Evernote did not notified bye email that Legacy will stop being supported? Even if we are only 1%, what would have cost to share this information ahead of time? I have lost a lot of work, notes and time... Only yesterday I found out. The new quicknote feature lacks the functionality the old one had. I find it quite useless: screenshots are directly saved as notes individually; you cannot add any non-text information, and, even more ridiculous, if you are using two monitors, it only works in the main one! How can something that worked so well in 2012 has turned to be worse 12 years later? Can you please add this back? If there is no plan, I would like to know ASAP so I can unsubscribe.
  15. I'm still having this problem on an iPhone 12 mini. Edit: version 10.85.1 (1220306).
  16. Thanks, I restarted Evernote and it started working again. Is the new Evernote usually this buggy?
  17. Thanks for all the assistance! So, I was able to get in using Safari after many attempts. Could not access via Chrome. The other problem I am having is how to export my notes out of Evernote.
  18. May the reason be I was banned or somewhat like that? Even if I make a request they just close it the ticket without any consideration of my problem. Still I cann't find a solution for AI Edit nunworking.

  20. Just a few remarks, from a fellow user who is running his own little business: There is no necessity to actually use (=interact) with EN to be in a contractual relation. You had your data stored on their servers, they were maintained and safeguarded. The service was available at any moment for you. You received what you had booked - no matter if you actually thought about logging in to add information. If you don't need it any more, you can cancel your subscription at any time. And as with all subscriptions, it will then end at the final day of your subscription period. If you choose yearly to safe money compared to monthly, then it's 1 year. Actually you can cancel whenever in this year, and it will only run for the rest of the subscription. B2B services as Teams are usually not eligible for the same level of protection as consumer contracts. The assumption (wrong or right) is that anybody running a business knows what he is doing, and which contracts he is using for his business. You can (depending on the place of your business) refer to B2B business law and practices, but consumer law will in most jurisdictions not apply. E-Mails informing about price changes have been send in due course - I can tell because I received one of them as well. If you didn't receive it, check for what may have prevented it. Spam filters, not sufficient storage space, an email address registered for an employee no longer active are just a few possibilities. You will likely have a hard time to prove that the email with the price information was never received by your email server. That's a wrap up of what is the legal side. When interacting with support, make a word count. If the word "Please" is high up in the ranking, they may consider helping you. Because that is what you are asking for.
  21. It is working for me on an i7 MBP, a M1 mini and a M2 MBP. Not all the game, but a pretty good test environment to say: A problem is not related to the processor used for your Mac.
  22. None of you guys can have the same issue - 2 years and more than 50 releases later. Use the words that have been given to you by caring humans to describe what your problem may be. The we will use the words given to us by other caring humans to point at possibilities to solve the problem. If you don't I can only point you to what has already been said in this thread.
  23. As long as both apps have reliable security, jumping from one to the other won't create any additional risk. My comment was written nearly a year ago though, and Evernote did not have a diary or a task management system of its own. Now you can avoid any external risk by using those internal features.
