  1. Past hour
  2. Reminder view is abailable in the previous web version. You might want to downgrade
  3. I'm moving this discussion to the Mac forum There are two types of windows in Evernote; Note List and Note You posted a screenshot of a note list window, with three note list tabs The tabs show the note list descriptions Here's a screenshot of the note window with three note tabs You'll notice in the note window, the note titles are displayed
  4. The master version of your data is stored on the Evernote servers. You can verify your data is ok using the web platform at www.evernote.com Confirm your data is ok, and then we can advise on fixing your device problem
  5. That was a separate issue that was fixed. @oup59, I checked into your account and can confirm the multiple occurrences of the PC device, but nothing looks out of place at the moment. I see all the previous devices revoked and the iPhone and PC currently active. I believe the current state of your account should be good. Let me know if you still have this problem and I'll see if I can get some developer assistance on this.
  6. You can try using a app deletion tool like AppDelete that not only removes the app itself, for all of its related data. Note that if you have any Local Notebooks they will be permanently lost, unless you have a good backup.
  7. Roger that. It is so obvious that it makes one wonder if the developer of this feature ever tested or used it???
  8. Today
  9. @Joe Leondike Thanks for reaching out! At this time, reminders are not available on the new Evernote Web experience. That being said, the reminder feature is related to the Evernote Web Client, and not the Editor. In this case, I'm going to move this thread to a more appropriate location, but please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any other questions!
  10. @Ethan Mings Thank you for reaching out! The shortcut/tags interface you're describing is actually a function of the Web Client, and not the Editor. In this case, I'm going to move this thread to a more appropriate location. Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any other questions!
  11. @James Systems Matter Thank you for reaching out! What you've described is actually a function of the Web Client, and isn't associated with the Editor. In this case, I'm going to move this thread to a more appropriate location. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you have any other questions!
  12. @Sallyshelty Thanks for reaching out! The issue you're encountering is more so related to the Web Client, and not the Editor. I'm going to move this thread to a more appropriate location, but @Jay-Bob should be able to provide further assistance!
  13. @Jeshi, just wanted to let you know the developers are actively looking into the issue. I'm sorry I can't provide more context than that, but wanted to make sure you knew that we weren't ignoring it.
  14. @Crsawood Thank you so much for sharing your feedback! The notebook view in the sidebar is related to the Web Client experience, and not the Editor. In this case, I'm going to move this to the correct feedback location. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any other questions!
  15. Took a look as well. Notion seems stronger in building workflows and cockpits / dashboards. Looks nicer, GUI is more flexible. But I have not found the massive, reliable data silo with good-to-perfect retrieval I need for my usecase. So for me it is EN for the next future. This is plainly personal, others may evaluate features differently, and everybody has an own usecase to support.
  16. They recommend some scanner apps here https://www.notion.so/Best-iPhone-Apps-for-File-Scanning-With-OCR-c59b8e4627f0465d86b1167dac3e5c36 You can also use Evernote's Scannable app. 😋
  17. Yes please!!! We need this feature!! How is this not a thing yet? To "pin" notes to the top, or to manually change the order of the notes within a notebook would be soo useful!
  18. I ran into this problem when I downloaded the updated version of Evernote, I have never had this issue when downloading or updating Evernote previously and I'm pretty concerned. I'm using 360 Total Security, every time I try to download the newest version of Evernote (or scan my laptop after downloading it) on Windows I get a pop-up saying that some of the .dll files are a threat. When installing, it previously presented about 3 files as threats but has subsequently stopped doing that after cancelling my second attempt and re-trying a third time. It was only on the third attempt, after cancelling, that I didn't get pop-ups asking me if I want to block the files. I can't tell you what the files that came up as threats were when installing the software as I don't remember but, after completing a security scan it tells me that the D3DCompiler_47.dll file is a threat because its 'behaviour approximates that of Trojans'. Is there a reason it is coming up as a threat? Is it still safe for me to continue using Evernote offline?
  19. Just an FYI, you can export an EN table to an ENEX and modify the ENML. However, changes relative to padding and the like are ignored when the note is brought back into EN. This used to work a ways back, but no more.
  20. Yeah, so with all this noise I downloaded Notion to take a look. Tried for 10 minutes to get a PDF to display in line and couldn't. Okay fine.
  21. How can Evernote not fix this hours after it's discovered? This sort of problem is so fundamental, they should do a code rollback to the previous version. In the meantime they're releasing dark mode improvements?! Evernote: why?!
  22. Of my 41,801 notes 21,633 are PDFs, some large but most not. !0% are 1 MB or larger. Data base is 21.3 GB. And I have no response time issues. My docked laptop is 6 years old with 8 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD. I turn off all the services I can in Windows, particularly any of their data capture and indexing stuff. I also try to keep other concurrent processes at a minimum exclusive of cloud sync services and he like. All that being said, don't know what the twinkie dust is that prevents me from hitting the performance issues of others.
  23. Hi @Sallyshelty, thank you for reporting this. When you click on Notebooks or Tags in the left-hand sidebar, what do you see? What you're mentioning seems like it may be an issue our web application team is currently investigating. It appears to be affecting certain folks using Google Chrome, specifically. If you're on a Mac does Safari work for you? If you're on Windows the new web version currently only supports Chrome. If Chrome is the only browser you can use, does trying an incognito window yield different results for you?
  24. Yes, sure it is, but I would rather avoid to project the EN screen to the caves walls ... the humidity will kill the gadgets before you’re done.
