  2. One of the most useful functions for me in Legacy has been the clipper. Not the web clipper, which is useful and remains, but the clipper that could select any screen area in any window and would instantly put that clip into Evernote as a note, or, if control was held, into the clipboard, or if shift was held, into a file on the desktop. I used that feature multiple times a day and have not found anything that comes close to replacing that one-step convenience in the current versions. Is there any way to duplicate that simple two-step function without going through multiple steps?
  3. OK, my bad. Thank you for your kind reply as a follow user. You guys spent a lot of time and effort solving issues for other users. You should totally get paid by EN. EN should have a real customer support team other than just request tickets, which only get reply on a weekly basis. I am just user who need to talk to a real customer support person.
  4. Just cancelled my subs after probably a decade of using Evernote. I cannot justify a doubling of the subs. The product has become over-engineered with capabilities way way beyond what I originally enjoyed about it. Sadly, off to Upnote for £29.50 lifetime subs.
  5. The versions working with iOS 12 (and older) have been discontinued. It may be you can still download the client, but it will never again connect with the server. The interface for the legacy clients has been closed on the 23rd of March.
  6. Oh. If that's true, I am so confused. This is just to show EN will say you used the wrong email if I login using google login. With the email login using the same email address, no such issue.

  8. Nobody here works for Evernote. So we aren't providing customer service. I can see that Evernote replied to your request requesting confirmation of your Email, the last payment date and the invoice number. I don't think you provided what they need to locate your payment.

  10. Hi PinkElephant, This is the worst customer support reply I have ever seen, with 0 intention to help or any sympathy but 100% fighting against your customer. This has been a request ticket for a while. If "please" is working, I don't need to ask for help here in the first place. No email is just no email. I received the invoice email without any issue. I search all emails from EN and no reminder email in my mailbox including spam. My email is 100% working and evidence is totally possible. Customer is customer, both consumers and teams are your customer. If you don't treat your customer as a customer and provide nearly no support to them. There is huge bug in the login system. My account email is a google account, I can login using the same email via either google account login or email login. They go to different accounts, but have access to the same account information and same email. I saw no subscription if I login using google login (which I cancelled it last year), but only realized that I have to use the email login to the same account to see the subscription. That's is why I didn't know I had the subscription until I see the invoice and was told the email was wrong (because I used google login). You can see the conversation about this in #3871871. (check out the "please" in the ticket). I couldn't see and cancel my subscription if I login using google login.

  12. Spoke too soon Not working properly with a note filter either. But sometimes will work if I turn the app off and on again (not loging off)

  14. This worked for me Change to Month view with a Monday start date Click Calendar. Click Home > Arrange > Month. Click the File tab. Click Options, and then click Calendar. Under Work time, for First day of week, select Monday.
  15. I am amazed that EN allows you to name a tag *black or even in my testing black*. If you search for tag:black* It should find notes containing tags beginning with black. If you have created the black* tag the search does nothing. I would avoid * in tag names ($, . or _ work fine) although I doubt this is the cause of your problems.
  16. The new notebook solution is a good solution to a problem that should not exist. All my notes are based on tags, but this is perfect for my needs. I will still keep the tags in place and monitor the situation. Once again thank you 🙂
  17. Thank you for your response. I feel hopeless. I didn't know they wouldn't let legacy programs in. I hope Evernote will give me a chance, at least offline, because I have so many precious notes. Thank you so much for your time.

Well - what you have is not expected behaviour, so I'd suggest a clean reinstall of your current app, plus check your available local storage space - less than 10% free space can lead to anomalous results. To fix occasional errors with installs or updates on laptops or desktops - plus issues with speed or lag or corrupted data. 1 - Sync notes up to date (check via web client or another device) 2 - Exit Evernote (if you can) / delete data from device 3 - Uninstall app with Appcleaner (Mac) or Revo Uninstaller Free (Win) 4 - Power device off / allow 10 seconds / power back on 5 - Download latest Evernote from Evernote.com 6 - Reinstall. It will take a little while for the app to be fully operational If that hasn't fixed anything, check your local housekeeping - how much free storage space? What other processes are active? Do you have good network speed?

  22. That is certainly strange. I am also on 86.2 but only have one Evernote Calendar and my Synced Google Calendar.
  23. Some users don't seem to have any problems with this process. You should contact Support to see if they can help - meantime maybe consider a different way of grouping notes, like creating a new notebook instead of a tag? Or include a unique keyword in the title and do intitle: searches?
